So E3 and Gamescom were both a bust for Halo. All of the best news thus far revealed has been revealed on Twitter or Reddit. The PR and marketing team at 343 really need to up their game. Either that or just tell us when we are going to get news and what it will be about rather than to keep teasing we’re getting announcements and then give us nothing.
We’ve got a beta, an audio podcast series that’s getting a second season, gave us multiple trailers and vidocs, as well as multiple gameplay videos from community members and 343 alike. Plus, we’ve got The Sprint and now we’re getting blog posts that give updates on the game.
I think they can hold off on info because they’ve already given us plenty.
Also, just because they didn’t come out and show 3 different campaign levels or didn’t show Forge doesn’t make it a bust.
Plus, RTX is later this week. If 343 is there, then I think you’ll get some news.

I don’t understand. Do you want them to spoil everything a few months before the game releases? We’ve gotten so much already, it can wait.
I’m not too disappointed. I would have liked a bit of Warzone on a new map and maybe some campaign, but it looks like Arena is shaping up nicely. I do think they spent a bit too much time on that one CTF match though. They should have done a highlights reel from all the matches they played.
All in all, I wasn’t blown away but I wasn’t disappointed either. It was satisfactory.
Halo Wars 2. Boom.
Doesn’t look disappointing to me since they just announced Halo Wars 2.

The Halo 5 showing at gamescom was terrible apart from the trailer which was still not much new stuff.
