Anyway. OP are you trying to make sure nobody is going to buy Halo 5, and Halo 6. Or another future Halo game from 343? Look what happened with Reach. If this is used for Halo 4. The outcome would be a lot worse.
Great ideas! I also think there should be a knife button instead of a melee button.
Kind of like in COD, but if you’re out of range of the target, you jump at them and tackle them to the ground.
And while killing them on the ground, you should go into a sort of armor lock mode so you can’t get killed while killing.
The sort of armor lock mode would basically be armor lock, combined with a power drain/health regen.
Your shields would come back up while locked, and anyone that went near you would lose their shields.
That way armor lock isn’t stupid like it is in Reach because people can just beat you down right when you come out of armor lock.
It makes armor lock almost useless.
