It takes way to much to kill a player, seems most people barely go positive in matches. Recommend taking some of the shield or health away. Halo reach was perfect when it came to how much it took to kill a player. It feels like it takes way to much to kill one single player.
What game have you been playing? The shields pop really quickly and every gun (including the AR) has headshot multipliers. I think you just need to work on your aim. I’m constantly getting melted and vice versa.
I kinda expected a few comments like this. That’s cool you think highly of yourself. However stats speak for them selfs. Not many people are passing 10kills a match. I played halo from the start, it’s definitely harder to kill players on here compared to other halos (I’m enjoying it an I’m doing good) I just noticed a lot of people struggling.
A lot of the times I drop there shield fast but there bar not so much
For instance BR takes 6 to body now it takes 5
What game has you been playing, the Time to kill is a little fast for halo. some times you don’t even have reaction time.
The TTK is faster in this game than Reach.
For everyone that goes negative, someone is going positive (unless there’s a lot of self destructs…)
Again, sounds like aim is the issue. If you use the guns as intended, and hit upper body/head, people go down really quickly. Like I said, every gun has headshot multipliers. If you’re bodyshotting with the BR, you’re doing it wrong. Hell, though, the sidekick can kill fast with just bodyshots.
The problem with looking at people’s raw stats is every Halo game has people who typically get low kills. If you’re going off stats, how do you explain people who typically go positive with 15+ kills? No matter what TTK is, every game has people with great K/D, and bad K/D. The game just launched and there’s expectedly a lot of bad people are going to be in a lot of matches. Also, people with high stats are going to result in other people with low stats. the people they’re killing are going to have worse K/D’s, and the kills they get are kills their teammates aren’t getting. People also have low K/Ds because a lot of people throw themselves into meat grinders, or trade a lot.
The br is still a 4 shot killed gun. The disruptor is a 12 shot gun. The AR is a 25 shots. 15 if you get the head shots… bulldog is 2 close 3 range. there are videos on YouTube explaining all the weapon damages.
TTK should not be reduced in any capacity.
I so strongly disagree. I get melted in this game all the time.
TTK Is great, I honestly think most people have trouble adjusting to the aiming, took me some tweaking in the settings but if your Aim is on point you will be destroying players.
You can’t say “most people barely go positive”, that makes no sense. For someone to go Positive someone else has to go negative. If you’re getting killed a lot, then that means other people in the lobby are going positive!
The TTK in Infinite is fairly fast for a Halo game, in BTB it feels just right to me, though a little too fast for arena 4v4 - but that might just be because I’m getting old and can’t react fast enough anymore.
You do realize that kills and deaths won’t distribute equally within teams, right?
If you have a 4x4 match with 1 team with 4 average players and 1 team with 1 very good players and 3 players just below average, you can get a match where only that very good player goes positive and the rest goes negative.
I have already gotten a lot of matches where just 1 out of the 8 players goes positive.
I think also there is a problem with too little bullet magnetism (wich works for both controler and MKB). With little bullet magnetism the ping makes a huge difference. Because of the bullet magnetism is lower, you can have your aim off less then with higher magnetism. And players with higher pings will ofcourse have more problems with getting shots in, since they can aim as precise as they want, but the ping makes it that that aim would be slightly of target. This is heavily favoring US players ofcourse, since most matches are on US servers. Myself (European player) i see a huge difference between how good my shots land between matches, and i don’t think that is a hit reg issue, but a ping issue due to the low magnetism. Since there is also no way to limit servers, players outside the US (and especially in areas with less players) will have difficulty getting kills.
On top of that there also definitely is an issue with non-working aim assist on pc-controler players. I used to play controler all the time on MCC and also on infinite at first. I was unable to land shots on the controler and went negative almost all the time (even though on MCC i have an average KD of just over 1.5). I switched to MKB and imidiately was significally better, even though i didn’t have any muscle memory for playing on MKB. That already shows that aim assist is not there (at least not working). And i hear way more players (especially on pc) having problems with non-working aim assist, while the problems seems less with xbox controller players. That needs to be fixed.
A better argument is, it should be lowered slightly, not much, but a tad. The reason being, movement and TTK at its current rate together allow for bad players, and good players alike to put themselves in horrible positions, and getaway. To easily.
EIther lower TTK a bit or slightly lower movement.
Agreed I have bad games where I feel like I’m right on them but not getting hits. Maybe I just need to play more. Seems like most agree I’m dog water so I’ll re evaluate my game play an see what I can do better
I suggest going into the academy and doing 1 star weapon drills, that way you can unload into standing still targets and get a feel for what the real TTK is. If you want really good improvement on your aim, go into training, set the bots to Spartan difficulty, and turn on “Playfighting” so they won’t shoot back, but just constantly strafe. Their strafing is ridiculous, and practicing on them will probably help your aim for future gunfights.
Lmao yikes man. There have been very few games where I get less than 10 kills
I feel the TTK is pretty spot on. At times it’s frustrating to pop a shield and it takes what feels like a few extra body shots to take someone down due to them fleeing or just “barely” missing Headshots but I guess that’s the name of the game. insert Thanos voice “You should have gone for the head”
