I killed 3 people carrying the flag, but none of them counted as the flag carrier because they did not have the flag in their hands at the exact time I killed them. Why the hell do they have it so the fastest way to carry the flag also does not count as carrying the flag when you die?

With all the issues with challenges it almost seems like the developers are doing it on purpose. Team slayer does not count if it is in a quick match, attrition counts as elimination for everything except the last achievement, sometimes the game bugs giving you 0 score and no progression on any challenges. If I stop playing this game I will never return and I am reaching the end of my patience.

Yeah, it’s a bit annoying. Would be good if it counted if they were holding the flag within the last second or two.

Oof, another bit of an oversight there, and made even worse when you consider that - as the flag carrier - you still get points for helping carry the flag to your base even if you die during the process and someone else on the team scores.
Never had a problem when I last got this Challenge. Playing defense on any BTB map for CTF has me easily killing enemy flag carriers - unless the enemy team is that bad and can’t even touch the flag. It seems that players don’t juggle as much in BTB, whether because they’re desperately trying to get in vehicles or trying to remain more covert on the bigger maps. Or just the more casual nature of BTB dissuades juggling.
