In there current state kill cams need to be removed.
In their current state, they are worthless. When I do for whatever reason decide to watch one, the guy that kills me is shooting at a bird, then at an ant, and kills me.
Of course they do. They don’t work, and it doesn’t look like they ever will. 343i pumps out a new fix every other week, but none of them have worked.
Whether or not they work is beside the point, kill cams in Halo is just dumb.

The fact of the matter is why even have something when it does not work properly? I’d rather have the death cam where I can see around than watch someone shooting the wall 10 feet beside me and kill me.
I agree, killcams in their current state don’t work, and are thus a rather useless addition to the game. It was a good idea in theory, but we can see that, in practice, it’s definitely better left out.

I’m actually surprised they weren’t yanked on internal beta. They are embarrassingly bad over Xbox Live. It was a nice try, but angling the death cam toward the person who killed you is sufficient for determining how you died. The low quality of the kill cams just make it more frustrating, and I imagine many players who don’t know what’s going on are screaming out in frustration that, “OMG, he was shooting a wall, not me!”

I agree. It would help me more to use a death cam that shows where the enemy currently is (to communicate to teammates) instead of where they were before they killed me.

I tottaly agree with this. But if 343 are determined on kill cams then I wouldnt mind a little pop up screen in the bottom left hand of the screen that shows how I killed the last guy especialy if it was skillbased. But ofcourse the whole game would just be better without it.
How many times must I got over this ONI controls the Killcams there is nothing you can do about it.

having that has saved a lot of people from me booting them
If 343 would fix them, then I wouldn’t mind, but on one condition. Once you die, you a re prompted the choice of watching it.
I don’t like automatic kill cams in halo. I prefer final kill cams, then cams that happen every death.
