Why was killcam removed?
On larger lobbies and gametypes, it had the tendency to cause lag, I believe. And a lot of people didn’t like it anyways.
I would have loved them to keep the final killcam. Sure it makes halo 4 like Cod even more but the epic kills you can do in halo would have been amazing to show off
Killcam is still in some game types i know that it’s in Rumble Pit, the 8 player free for all.

It was quite buggy and essentially broken on Xbox LIVE which resulted in a lot of people thinking players were cheating because the kill cam showed them dying, even though the player missed shots.
Because it shows your enemy where you are
imagine you having an sniper rifle and go to a very good spot.
you kill someone and you are spotted by killcam…
so he comes exactly to that spot so he can get his revenge he also knows you have a sniper rifle and probably come from behind and assasinate you.
So
- He gets his revenge on you
- Assassinates you
- Gets your sniper rifle
- Might also be teabagging you
And ALL thanks to the killcam how lame!
I am glad its gone and thats why i also hated COD
The kill cam had to go because it took away from the ability of the deceased to witness celebratory crouching actuated on their face.
I agree with Hardi AK47 For in game kill cam. but we should still have the final kill cam.
The only time I ever watch the killcam, is when somebody gets a “luck shot” and I’m raging over how they couldn’t have done that.
It is still working on some playlists.
I feel like killcam is makes Halo 4 fell more like COD, killcam should just stay in COD

Overall, it was poorly executed… The kill cam was buggy and ruined some gameplay strategy.
The kill cam was a nice addition to the series.
They should update & modify kill cam. Good fun looking back on a particularly good kill
