Do you guys think killcam is a good or bad thing to have in HALO 5?
If the answer is yes then why is it bad.
If the answer is no then why is it not bad.
bad thing, you could be spotted in some game types
Killcams (if they’re even implemented again lol) should stay on for gametypes with radar and be turned off for gametypes without radar.
The reason being that it helps newbs acclimatize to the game and maps but in competitive modes with no radar than it becomes gamebreaking.
I don’t ever use it and it hardly affects the gameplay, but I hate it with a bloody vengeance just because I know it’s shoehorned into the game for no other reason than to appeal to the mainstreem FPS audience. So I really hope they scrapped it, but if they don’t it’s not the end of the world (so long as I can skip it and as long as you can turn it off in custom games).
EDIT: It’s actually confirmed to be in the Beta
I think it is a bad thing (in my opinion) simply because… well I don’t give a sh** about it. It’s really just an annoying thing that pops up whenever I die. I always skip it and would much rather see from behind an allied player after I die.
good!!!
Final kill cam only, for everyone to see.

I agree with you guys.
Killcam sucks. Show some highlights instead in the end of the game or something.
All the killcam recordings should go into a file which is viewable in theatre after the game. - A ‘Lowlights’ file.
Also all your kills in a ‘highlights’ file.

I agree with you three
We don’t need one, I always skip it in games like cod anyway.
No real reason to have it, I suppose. I doubt any COD kiddie is going to say “Halo 5 doesn’t have kill cams? Guess I can’t play it then.”

This!! X100%
While I don’t really mind, and most of the time I’d probably skip it, I know there are moments where I’m like “Who the -Yoink-? How the -Yoink- did that happen?! SHOW ME HOW THAT HAPPENED!” although it could serve to piss me off more if I find out I was hail mary’d by some randomer tossing a 'nade in the air in a random direction from the other side of the map…
It’s just a gimmick, but it can help newer players find out how they died so they can get better at the game. It doesn’t break the game, everytime you die in halo you pretty much know exactly where you’re getting killed from anyways. Maybe disable it in pro gametypes to satisfy the hardcore.
They would be kinda broken in a game type like breakout but it would be really nice to have them in custom games for after you get sniped in duck hunt or splattered in speed halo.
I see it as pointless. I know how I died most if the time. Theater mode’s there for any of the questionable deaths. Hell, we could just tell the Xbone to record it.
This is not cod the simple death screan is perfect

Considering it’s completely broken at the moment and doesn’t even point at the guy that actually killed you I’d say it’s irrelevant.
