I did a similar thing to my friend by leading his hydra round back to him when he shot at me but it ended up killing us both because I couldn’t escape the blast.

That happened to me too on Tyrant.
I once saw a guy on my friend’s list also post a video about being killed with his own REQ. He was playing Warzone Firefight and a soldier hijacked his rocket warthog and killed him. When he respawned and ran back to the same spot. The soldier now occupied the warthogs turret and murdered him.
