I forget were, but Neoxy or some pro player reported on playing halo 4
when he got a killstreak he got an oversheild and after that he could keep getting more
oversheilds and more oversheilds
I can’t be the only one worried about this if they have powerups they cant put them around the map?
and i thought ordinince drops were only for power weapons and they weren’t killstreaks that they just respawned timers in a couple different locations to dicourage camping i
I feel bad saying this but I think 343 is being kind of dumb the way there approching this game if they just changed a few very small things back like 1.old score system 2.no hitmarkers/grenade indicators 3. killstreaks 4. no unlockable weapons
the game would just feel more balanced and fun if they took away these uneeded additions and it would still feel new and fresh
He badly described the AA Promethian shield which is really easy to bypass if you know how. You get the option of a power weapon an AA or a regular weapon when you call in ordinance. You don’t get massiveovershields or anything.

I remember an Interview from Franky months ago. like alomost a year and he said there are stuff from CoD that Halo can use but improve on it were CoD failed on it. Yes I said CoD failed. What there doing is great in my opinion. Adds new features to the game and loving every single moment of it. Thank You 343
Second of all, even if they were, it’s much much harder to get killing sprees in Halo than it is in Call of Duty, so it wouldn’t be a problem. But since ordnance drops are not kill streaks, it’s nothing to be worried about.
Thirdly, have you played the game or seen any full game gameplay? No? Then don’t judge it and call it “overpowered”. You can’t possibly know this, so don’t whine about it.

Maybe if you would use correct grammar in your title you wouldn’t get hammered. Anywho I see the drops as another layer of gameplay, you never know what your enemy is going to pull out on you, it keeps you on your toes. If I round a corner and eat a rocket, fair play, I shoulda been more careful.
You’re right. They are not killstreaks as you don’t have to get consecutive kills to get it. You just have to get 5 cumulative kills, and the meter doesn’t go away after dying.

You are right. They are cumulative kills. You just have to get 5, it doesn’t matter how may times you die in between kills.
The personal ordnance drops are instantaneous and plop down right in front of you. And they can drop normal weapons, power weapons, AAs, or power-ups, it is your choice.
I have seen about 5-6 cumulative minutes here. The player was terrible, but it is gameplay nonetheless.

So that promotes campy gameplay as you dont know what they have, and if you have something good, you dont want to risk losing it. Part of the old system of fighting for power ups/weapons is that you know when they come up, and know when you do/dont have them, speeding up the game.
As Nexy said, he didnt die, he just had an Ovie placed in front of him EVERY TIME.

> I can only hope that personal ordnance is only in the infinity slayer gametype.
I hope they actually use it. It looks to be implimented well and its said the power weapons recieved depends on the map so hopefully you won’t get rockets on a map with small corridors.
but you can get powerups from the ordinence and theres a couple new ones
I cant find the video but Walshy played halo 4 then made a video and i wasent describing the hardlight sheild

> Stop calling it that, it’s annoying.
It reminds you of another FPS doesn’t it?
But on a more serious note, getting bonuses for killing people just isn’t Halo. That 343 wants to make it their own Halo is fine by me, but taking the soul of the game and destroying it is not good.
Halo was about even fights, predeterment weapon spawnning on the map and starting of on the same foot. Now with the kill bonus, the random power weapons spawn and the more extended loadouts the soul of Halo is being spat on. This makes me wory about the future of Halo.
