I’m beyond disgusted with the amount of kills that have been stolen from me. And when I say stolen, I’m not talking about a fire fight with two different groups of soldiers spraying and praying.
I mean the people the who systematically stand next to you, do absolutely nothing in terms of shooting, until they see the oppositions armor is broken. Then pop pop and I’m given another assist, at this point 1 kill 15 assist. It’s even better when said team mate refuses to open fire while your being laid out, cause if they happen to prematurely shoot, they end up with their own assist.
Whose a victim or guilty of this nasty, -Yoink–bagery habit? And I won’t lie, I have now started doing this myself. I will watch as people frantically put shot after shot, and then as if I was farting into a bag and selling it as clean air, squeeze a semi accurate shot for the kill. The results are phenomenal, I’ve flipped it to 15 kills to 1 assist. I don’t deserve half of the kills I get now, cause I’m standing in the back or only shooting when I know the enemy’s health has been depleted from their previous engagement; I could care less if I’m able to help my teammate by shooting their target a few times, never sacrificing myself to an assist.
Here’s an assist 343, give this franchise back to Bungie, cause I’ve never been so turned off by playing a “team” game before. Can’t every two assist equal a kill? Shouldn’t there be a damage percentage awarded to the player who dealt the most? Or should I pay $99 dollars for 200+ needlers and carbine rifles?

Is this a bad joke? If not, it’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever read. The point of the game is to win, not stat pad. You need to get a grip.
Play Free-For-All if you are so worried about this and you won’t have this problem. 
OMG these threads are comedy gold! He’s actually blaming 343 for kill stealing, something that happens in every single multiplayer FPS ever.
OP - if you didn’t get the kill, then it wasn’t yours in the first place. It’s really simple, get the kill and it’s yours. It’s impossible to steal kills from other people.
And if you’re not happy with your team mates, then get a decent fireteam. There’s a recruiting forum here for that.

I don’t quite follow the point of this, anyone can kill steal in any Halo game, or any shooter for that matter, and it’s just a kill, it wont change your life
This is halo there is no such thing as stealing kills
If someone who has a enemy in line of sight and isnt firing i would consider them bad team mates. Its not kill stealing its a team game and you take others kills sometimes and they take yours sometimes.

I honestly doubt people would let you do all the work and then put in that one bullet for the kill. I myself play with a pre made fire team if I’m doing arena playlists. We always double up as I believe in the method “sharing is caring” where we team shoot and whomever gets the kill gets it. There’s no argueing, scolding the other guy, ect ect, it’s just do what we have to in order to get the W. I don’t care if I lose out on a kill as long as I was at lest helping out with team shooting.
No! My kill was stolen! We lost the game! This is 343’s fault!

I would understand the frustration if you are assassinating someone and your teammate comes along and robs the kill at the very end of the animation, however the things you are saying right now are just pointless.

The idea that you get assists I can relate to. I got so shots on a guy and got an assist. Just better aim your shots.

What is Bungie going to do about it? Kill stealing was a thing forever and still is.
You have no idea what this TEAM game is about. Kill stealing is juvenile concept that bad kids, who’ll never get better, use.
Grow up and focus on the W, not your precious kills.
