Kill Glitch

As I was playing a match of Super Fiesta I was actually going quite well and ended up with the most kills in the game, ending off with 35 kills, 14 deaths, and a KDA of 21.3… However, some of those kills seemed to be glitches… During gameplay every 60 - 120 seconds it would say that I had killed a player (the same player each time the glitch occurred) with a railgun, even at times I never even had a railgun equipped. For example, let’s just say I had an Energy Sword and a SAW. After killing 2 people with the SAW a few seconds later it would say I killed someone with a Railgun… bit strange?
Anyway, hopefully, this issue gets fixed. The final score of the game was 75 - 72 and it was a fun game.

Yea same thing happened to me a while ago when I shot arclight at a wall, it just kept exploding silently on the wall for the whole game, and I got 41 kills lol, and 24 of them were from a rail gun

It does that sometimes, playing Warzone in 2016, I apparently killed a Ghost with a Tank when I was using a Gauss Turret, it’s strang r but hey free commendation point

Sounds like the kill indicators are all screwed up due to weapon randomization going on so much, honestly it really is a pretty low-priority bug that 343 may have just overlooked.

Not necessarily. Arclight was actually completely removed from Matchmaking and Warzone for awhile die to the glitch described above. People were able to do the glitch intentionally and only the user could see the “spark” effect of the rail shot repeatedly hitting the surface, so enemies would walk close to it not realizing it was there and would die for seemingly no reason.

It seems this glitch wasn’t entirely fixed and could possibly still happen at random.

Also, regarding vehicle destruction, the last player to deal damage to a vehicle gets the kill credit but the weapon displayed is the one that put it in the “death” state. There’s a delay between this death state and it actually killing the player, so kills can be stolen easily. It’s been this way since Reach and I’m unsure why this hasn’t been corrected yet, either. Basically, teammates attack Wraith, Laser (or whatever) puts Wraith into “death” state. Delay before player in Wraith actually dies. Teammate with AR spraying Wraith during this time. When enemy player dies, teammate with AR is awarded Laser kill on said enemy player, even when they don’t have a Laser.
