Kill Feeding

I’ve noticed more than once today that some people simply don’t don’t what feeding the enemy is, so a little PSA for those who may be new to Halo 5 multi and those who are wondering why their team may be losing.

It doesn’t matter how skilled you are, play to your strengths is what every successful player does. If you’re honestly really awful at sniping, please don’t grab the sniper rifle and practically hand it to the enemy in a ranked arena game. Play some campaign, Warzone, whatever, and practice in games where your teams success does not depend on you surviving and getting kills. I know it sounds elitist but I do it too, I rarely grab the sniper unless nobody else shows interest in it, so then I figure I might as well.

Sometimes if you simply can’t get a kill, don’t just rush into the high point and eat another fuel rod, you’re really not helping. Play smart, camp! Yes I said it! Let the enemy come to you and shoot them in the back! Over and over again I see players charge the high ground on Pegasus, Regret, and their bodies inevitable come flying out again and land at my feet.

Finally, please know the game, if you still haven’t figured game mechanics out, then ask! 99% of us are put going be -Yoinks!-, might be a bit sarcastic or laugh a bit but we were all there once. When Strongholds comes up, remember the capture points, try to help your team, if you feel comfortable then use a mic and join in with callouts. If you really just want to play straight up Team Deathmatch then choose Slayer in the playlist, don’t join Team Arena and then sit there and try to boost your KD in a a CTF game.

Sir, yes sir!
