I just thought of this simple idea for Halo 4. So we all know that it is very annoying when the kill feed gets in the way of your reticle when playing Reach. Well how about an option in the control menu. There can be an option to set the kill feed to ON, OFF, or Brief.
Selecting “ON” will let you see all the specific kill feed like; got revenge, with a headshot, with a grenade ect ect.
Selecting “brief” will take away ALL of the nonsense that you would normally see. All you would see is “So and so killed so and so” or “You killed so and so.”
Selecting Off would obviously disable all kill feeds. This is for people who normaly don’t give a crap what just happened in the game and they just want the clutter out of the way e.g. causals.

Have you played Split-screen? That’s where the problem is most common.
I play on a 36 inch TV and yes it still gets in the way. Its worse with 2P split screen and even more worse with 4p split screen. Even if you don’t have this problem would you still think this is a good idea?
