What I mean by, kill crediting system, if you get the kill, or if you get an assist.

I am making this thread, because I would like to know if its glitched or not. I am going into matches where I am getting assists left and right, where seemingly I am the only one shooting at the person, but I get an assist.

In an average game, I’ll have maybe 3-7 kills, but an average but I’ll have an average of the equivalence 26-34 of kills in assists… and I am wondering, if the kill crediting system is glitched or something

and its extremely annoying because my K/D is suffering immensely because of it, and all of this started happening seemingly after the last patch

Like I completely understand that, Sometimes, that I will lose Line of sight I would have taken out the enemies shields… Or I had bad aim when firing a sticky detonator. but he was slightly in the blast radius… but when I have a shotgun, and I shoot at them a point blank range, and I get an assist, or I hose someone down with a assault rifle, or the SAW, and its only me and him in the area. Its that, that confuses me

It isn’t a glitch, it is -Yoinks!- who deliberately sit there and wait for you to throw 4 shots into a player, then they take the last shot to the head.

Thats disgusting, if people are going to do that, then assists need to be taken out entirely, and whoever does the majority of the damage gets the kill
I dropped into negative K/D because of of that… Seriously, I am being criticized for having a negative K/D because a bunch of jerks with a lack of skill can’t kill people on their own
