This is a short one, but I just am curious as to what commendations qualify as a “kill” commendation. You know for the Achilles Armor. Specifics and details are appreciated.

I feel like they’re inaccurate…are they only applicable in Arena? Warzone? Or both? I know I personally have gotten more medals than it says.

Were you in the company when you got the medals.

Yes, I’m the leader.
That is only your companies kill commendations, not yours. Also, when you join a company, you can look-up their commendations. In the commendation tab there is another tab for the kill commendations. Obviously, that is where you will find it.
I don’t want to be insulting, but your company is very small. I’m in a clan that is very active and full (6 of our members are 343 developers). We only got around 20% kill commendations complete after 3 months. So, I would highly recommend joining a larger company. The requirements to get most of the kill commendations go into the thousands on rank 2 and 3. you’ll never get there.

I know it’s my companies, but how is it calculated? Do kills etc only count when you play together in a party?
Its only small because I just emptied out the inactive members.

They weren’t on from the start of companies. They added them not long ago (the commendations) so it doesn’t have all your kills just the ones since it started
Do other gametypes such as SWAT/FFA/SLAYER/Breakout count towards the spartan company kill commendations ?? or is it just the “Arena” game type? (and warzone of course). I only ask because I was playing with a team of guys in my company in SWAT and our commendation for head shots was way too low.

everyone’s kills combined go toward the company commendations
With a smaller company it is not impossible but it will take a long time of having active players to get the commendations complete

Go to your Spartan company, look at commendations they are divided into three sections the first of which is kill.

Yes, all game types count. My company did most of our power weapon kills in Grifball.

Your kills prior to the company being formed / Achilles coming out/ whatever don’t count. Only kills under each commendation since you joined the company count/since Achilles started. So if say you personally had 4000 grenade kills before joining the company/Achilles coming out, but only have 100 since joining, your company only gets credit for the 100. You only get credit for what you actively did in the company.
Edit: No, all kills count, not just when partying up. Solo progress counts. But it takes forever so the more people in a party the more comms you can achieve at once.

Same thing as the answer above, you only get progress towards a comm once you are in the company. Your numbers prior to joining are NOT retroactively added.
Edit: Let me clarify. The comms for the company are only for the company. There are no individual levels 1, 2, etc. All of your company members headshots, first strikes, etc., are pooled together and when you collectively have enough, you move from level 1 to level 2. Then the same to level 3. Once you FINISH all level 3 comms, I.E. they all read 4/5, you get the armor. Then the helmet at 5/5 obviously.

There are two types of ranks in h5: SR which rises with just playing multiplayer and getting points and then the skill ranks which require you to play a minimum of 10 matches in a ranked playlist during a season. If you do well that rank goes up.
