I was reading through some of the spartan company kill commendations, and I noticed that some of them say that you need to kill ‘enemy spartans’ to achieve them and some say you need to kill ‘opponents’. Does that mean some of these commendations can be earned in firefight? Like, for example, the ‘forgot to pay the toll’ commendation says you need to kill ‘opponents’ driving a moving vehicle- does that mean you can earn it by killing elites driving ghosts in firefight?
You can complete the vehicle destruction commendations solely through Firefight. As for the “Forgot To Pay The Toll” one, it has to be an enemy Spartan behind the controls and not a Covenant / Promethean enemy.
There are only a select few that can be done in FF. For the most part you are just wasting your time in FF since all comms can be done in regular WZ, and the comms that can be done in FF you will get naturally while playing WZ anyways, along with many others.
Comms that can be done in FF consist of destroying vehicles, WZ bosses, covies & prometheans. I think thats it
Mostly you will need to stay out of FF to complete the commendations for that. You can actually hijack back a vehicle if a covy or promethian hijacked you, though that can be tricky.
