I know there’s already a thread on it but there is no poll in that one so I’ll set it up.
Do you want Kill Cams in Halo 4? This could be any form of camera that goes back in time to view your death from your killer’s perspective.
Yes, No? Discuss.
EDIT: This does not include Game Winning Kill Cams.
If you chose No, it means you’d like to keep it the way it was as in Halo 3, where it pans the camera to the area where you were killed from.

In my loose understanding of Kill Confirmed (never played it) it sounds (very weakly) what headhunter could be…Or possibly should have been.
Generally for kill cams I’d say no, there’s a few times when the death cameras we do have have some issues panning and will move behind walls, making it kinda hard to ascertain anything though.
People only hate it because it is associated with COD. Nothing more nothing less.
I would enjoy the kill cam as it could provide some pretty humiliating moments when i beat someone.
Imagine beating some power weapon noob and you go up and -Yoink!- him. Wait he cant see it cause he went to kill cam…wait a sec he gets to watch me -Yoink!- him, through my eyes! I think it would be a great addition to the game.

No he wouldn’t because it cuts out after you kill him, he wouldn’t even see you -Yoink!- him because he is in the kill cam.

He would see it in the kill cam :P.
Anyway, neither a killcam nor a third person view of your dead body would matter if you can instantly respawn.
Why not? I honestly see nothing wrong with killcams being in the game.
The only reasons people seem to be unhappy with killcams is because it’s in Call of Duty and due to the fact that you won’t be able to see people tea bagging, both which are ridiculous reasons.

Not unless u crouched before the kill…and tht isn’t “teabagging” so no they wouldn’t see anyone -Yoink!- in the kill cam they would watch themselves die and that is it.

Idc that it’s from CoD…I play both games and I would rather Cod keep its killcam and Halo keep the whole panning camera thing…I like to check out what’s around me…most deaths its not like i didn’t know who was shooting me anyway because we were already in a battle and it gives me a chance to check out my surroundings. So no, I personally see no use to change it from Halo’s camera to a killcam.
I find the Kill camm to be a useless waste of resources.
The kill message log and the Halo 3 zoom out gives me all the info I need, I don’t need to see an instant replay of my death from the eyes of the killer.

I also heard that gaming forums were supposed to discuss the topic of the thread. If you think that I made this thread to support any side and say how Halo is becoming CoD, you’re mistaken. I’ve heard from a little bird that Kill Cams were being “considered” so I wanted to make a serious poll on the forum to see what this community thinks.
So please take your non constructive posts somewhere else or actually discuss the topic at hand.
