Kickflip Challenge is BS

So earlier I got a challenge called “Kickflip.”
It is an attrition only challenge.
“Earn 5 kills with the Sidekick in Attrition.”
Earns you 300xp

Later on I get Kickflip again.
EXCEPT NOW IT IS “Earn FIFTEEN kills with the Sidekick in Attrition.”
And now… you only get 350xp.

So you want me to do 3x the work but reward me with only a 1/6 bonus to the score rather than just give me 3x the xp scoring?

Pretty annoying.

These duplicate challenges are complete bs. I got two challenges for assists. While they are not difficult, the problem I have is follows:

My two challenges required 10 and 20 assists in Attrition. If you are lucky enough to have both these challenges active at the same time you only need 20 total assists to complete both, if not then you require 30. That is not fair in the least. The same goes for any other duplicate challenges for a single week.

Yeah bud I got something like 15 and 25 of sidekick and assists challenges back to back. Not a good time. I think the 20 melee attacks was even easier. Not getting any points /5000 in FFA every time I won was annoying af though. Luckily I still managed to finish the whole weekly in 6 hours on my day off work. Glad the “get 5 wins in Attrition” was bugged too, and gave points for losing, otherwise that would take hours by itself playing with randos. The way I see it, I either got the sidekick kill, or I got the assist, so it was a win-win as long as I landed my shots.

Just plug in any old controller and you get lazer aimhack-assist side kick shots ez 15 kills mate.

… … … so you are clearly a PC player.

Aim assist on PC is dialed up to 11 thanks to how Steam balances gamepad support on their shooters.

Aim assist in every Halo game on console is literally just the aim being slightly tugged in the direction of the enemy’s hitbox IF the touched the edges of your targeting reticle and IF they were within effective range for your weapon.

It’s not like CoD’s aim-assist where you just tap the ADS button and all of a sudden you have locked onto their head; meaning a quick tap of the left followed by right triggers results in an instant headshot.

Halo’s aim assist is just that … an assist.
Not a cheat like aim-lock or spin-bot.

They need to have all the challenges active like in Apex. Their system is way better and you can finish most of them by playing in a normal way. After a few sessions you can look up some specific ones and try to home in on them.

I had to get 20 kick flip kills. Took forever. I’m not sure the xp reward since I maxed the BP a week ago it doesn’t really matter anymore.
