My party keeps getting kicked from queue whilst we’re waiting for a game because we’re not doing anything within about five minutes of waiting, despite us having found no games in those five minutes. What’s going on with matchmaking that we can’t find a game in a reasonable amount of time, and why on earth are we being kicked before we can even get into a game after we’ve been waiting for so long?
yes, this needs to be less severe… does not make for good lobby rules.
While you are waiting keep an eye on your gamertag - if at any point there is a little ‘zzz’ icon next to your name, wiggle your controller sticks or move your mouse. If you notice another tag doing the same then let them know. This is the idle timer and is there to prevent people from entering a lobby and then a game and not playing.

We figured that out, but a 2-5 minute timer seems a little severe especially seeing as we aren’t even getting into games within that time.
