Where is Captain Keyes’ Pipe in this picture?

He holds it through the whole cutscene in the original! The pipe was awesome, I hope it isn’t gone!

Probably an old build, chief looks weird and keys looks like a placeholder straight from the end of Reach.

Pipe i never noticed no pipe in his mouth . I aint played ce for sometime so i could of forgot :3

I highly doubt that image was from the remade cutscene, most likely just before it.

So I highly highly doubt the pipe is gone. That would break canon and that.

And those look like the final graphics, by the way.

I hope Keyes still keep his hands behind his back in the cutscene too. I always thought the woodeness of the characters in CE added a certain charm.

Yes, it did. But I guess too many people consider that outdated now and not charming anymore.

Didn’t he not even smoke it anymore? He just fiddled with it?

I think the pipe will still be there. It has to be. Perhaps it just wasn’t in that cutscene shot? Or even build of the level?

I always loves the moment where he closed his eyes to think and knocked the pipe against his head. And when you could find his pipe in one of his flood tentacles.

He smokes it in The Fall of Reach when finding Halo and no more, and that’s not been removed so I highly doubt his pipe is getting “banned” in Anniversary…

I’m certain we’ll see the pipe again, though the Marathon symbol will likely be removed due to legal reasons.

OK I just played CE and I am now almost certain that the picture from CE:A is from after the cutscene, so it seems this crisis may have been averted.

The only time Keyes stands at that angle with his arms at his side is after the cutscene has finished, and there’s no pipe to be seen here either.

Well, since the cutscenes are being remade, he might pull it out at a later point in the cutscene.
