Keyes, Jacob. Captain. Service No. 01928-19912-JK

:’(

He’s gone!

NOOOOOOOOO!

That Terminal was amazing. Exactly how the book described it.

Halsey, DAT DRESS

So sad. This time the game really emphasized his death.

Excellent terminal! Flawlessly pulled off combining a slow-motion action scene with suspense, horror and drama.

Best terminal in the game. Had an actual effect on me.

Was a really sad cutscene, when I first played through CE’s campaign, I thought nothing off his death because I didn’t understand how the flood worked, however, after a few years of playing other Halo games, it made a lot more sense and seeing this terminal made me tear.

If 343 can make you really feel for a character’s death in a two minute clip, then I have high hopes for Halo 4.

Way to go, 343!

And Halsey in the dress was pretty awesome too

I was so mad . . . the first time I saw this terminal was Co-op with my brother, and when I was half way through he decided that it would be fun to start the “punch keys in the face” cut scene and I lost all progress through the terminal . . . then I had to fight off the flood, covenant, and kill my brother three times before starting the terminal again.

Although it was the best terminal of the campaign . . . I felt terrible for him after watching it.

That’s one of my favorite terminals! When I read that I played Keyes’s voice back into my head… kinda creepy.

When i frst saw that terminal it friken desimated me and broke me down into little pieces. for the first time ever, i stepped into keys shoes and truly felt what he felt and that alone was devestating. when i had first seen him like that in the level keys, i took it as a “oh well hes dead” type of jesture. but now i truly feel bad for him.

That was the best terminal, I’m glad it’s getting as much attention as it has been. It did pull off a lot of emotion.

Best terminal on the game

Nah dude, his service tag clearly states that he was just kidding.

R.I.P.
Captain, Jacob Keyes

For us, the storm has passed. The war is over. And let us never forget those who journeyed into the howling dark, and did not return. For their decision required courage beyond measure. Sacrifice, an unshakeable conviction that their fight… our fight… was elsewhere. They enobled all of us, and they shall not be forgotten.

That terminal was amazing haha. So sad :’(

This is not new, I believe this is in the book “Halo: The Flood”.

You are correct. That entire terminal cut scene is straight from The Flood.

Man that entire terminal is surreal. That “We already do…” line delivered by the proto-gravemind was…scary. It was conclusive; Keyes was finished.

i really liked that terminal, i think his death doesn’t seem as that big of a deal without it. kinda off topic but i think the proto-gravemind looks bloody disgusting
