I normally play Halo on Pc where possible but currently, I am having to play it on the Series X while my GPU is on Pre order and keeps being delayed. I’ve always traditionally used keyboard and mouse where I can. I’ve always used a hyperX mechanical keyboard but recently it finally broke on me And I am looking to buy a new one. My friend told me I need to look for a keyboard that is compatible with series X. I’ve never known this to be an issue Every keyboard I’ve used has just plugged in and worked. Is this a thing now about compatibility? Or was it always a thing?
I’ve got a gaming keyboard and a proper crap keyboard from work and both work with my Series X fine. I’ve not heard of needing anything specific or compatible. Most should work fine, if not all. There was a bug with the flight where the mouse just wouldn’t work with the flight, but it’s fine on other games.
I’ve also had the issue on MCC where my side buttons and scroll wheel on the mouse do not work when mapped. Which is a shame because with all that on the mouse, I barely even need to use the keyboard.
Every keyboard and mouse work on Xbox.
But right now the mouse doesn’t work on Halo Infinite on Xbox for some reason, hope they fix it.
