Key to consistent aiming

I’ve seen a lot threads about the inconsistency of aiming. I’ve got so say I’ve been struggling for months trying to find the right settings. Then it became obvious there was something else affecting this. A friend told me it was servers. I thought it was forge maps… Well it turns out the xbox one is just a weak piece of trash.

Halo 5 has a dynamic resolution that ranges from 1152x810 to 1536x1080. After discovering this I decided to turn my monitor’s resolution down to 720p. (If my monitor was a 16:10 I would have used 1280 x 768)

The difference is night and day. Aiming is consistent every match now.

I get consistent shots w/o sacrificing res so I’m pretty sure its a placebo.

I had someone else try this out without mentioning it and they noticed a huge difference and said something about it on their own will. I’ve also been gaming fps competitively for 11 years. I’ve placed at every halo and other games as well. I’m very sensitive to these things. It’s way too big a difference to be placebo and the logic of it stands. The dynamic range would be less on a lower res and put less stress on the gpu.
