Keep up the armor criticism

They are, however the armor set shown in all the promi art up to this point, the kabuto set and helm, are not in the pass. The pass leaked from a dataminer.

they did mention in the blog that bits of the Yoroi armour core’s gear is tied to the premium store.

Dude at this point I’m wondering if 343 cares at all. They made straight up lies to get halo fans attention. Not to mention when we complained about how slow the progression system is, they said “if you don’t like what I made then eat dirt” and made it even slower. This is turning into an obvious cash grab to lure in kids just like fortnite

I would have no problems if they got rid of armor cores altogether. I don’t really see the point of armor kits either.

For real. Its just too restrictive. Then people will be like “its lore accurate” when the hainted helm existed

Armour Kits be glorified skins.

I actually like the armour core system a lot, since its generational iterations of the same battle platform, theres something nice about that, and seeing the same armour parts receiving different iterations across each generation, its a good idea for Halo, but the armour coatings squander player expression, it also doesn’t help that a majority of Mark VII gear atm is locked behind the store.

Not true.

Not at all true

they said literals yesterday that fractures are FREE adn the armor in it are FREE your just not presenting the whole picture just what you see and passing it off as fact. instead how bout you do research on it and make your take on it

Maybe once there more added to each core ill feel less miffed about it, but as of now there just isnt enough.

Coatings have no excuse though, anti consumer as heck.

As for kits, they should be considered packs. I should unlock all parts in said kit to use as i please

Bro the entire free pass was revealed in a datamine. All 30 levels. Half the items in the event, which are veiwable on waypoint, aren’t on it.

Place an “h” at the beginning of link to use it.

If the datamine is wrong ill happily eat my words, but as it stands its not all free loke advertised

agreed on two of those things

I feel the issue with the cores at the moment is that too much of their parts are tied to the store, least for the Mark VII

Check EzzellVFX on Twitter for the real scoop.

yea, this customization is definitely the worst one in Halo history, I dare say it’s even worse than Halo 5’s Warzone Req Packs… It’s slow and very restrictive, no freedom of expression or flexibility whatsoever…

As much as i hated req packs, at least i could earn them passively in game. With infinite its pay or screw off. Its so bad.

I’m not joking when I say that I haven’t had a desire to play since it dropped on Monday. As you said; every day things seem to be getting worse, and everything about this game disgusts me, so I’m just not gonna deal with it. It’s pretty sad too, because I regarded Halo as my favorite video game series, but all I want to do now is move away from Halo.

I also don’t see anything getting better because they’ve gone through a great deal of work to make the game F2P and put in these systems as a result of being F2P, so they’re not just all of a sudden going to change it.

It’s awful and it’s an insult on multiple levels.
Very limited amount of substantial armor unlocks unless you pay.
You see armor you can’t use get unlocked.
Paywalled the Reach armor, which I and many others already ground out to unlock in 2010 when the game released. I did it once, but I’d imagine some people spent time in MCC getting the armor again.
You aren’t even paying for the armor, you are paying to be able to grind for it a 3rd time, an extremely slow grind which they will alter as little as possible since they want to make us pay to advance.
If they really wanted goodwill from the community they would have given us the Reach armor for free, unlocked and battle passed (which I still don’t like) that samurai armor since it’s new.
Imagine the good will if everyone had access to the Reach armor out the gate? Some people probably wouldn’t be as concerned about completing challenges to rank up. How is this system better than Reach?
On the shop today you can buy two knives for 10$, one of those knives was standard on every set of Halo Reach armor. I was wondering why they weren’t on the Reach armor the other day and now I know.
Love Halo but 343i has not learned from past mistakes, and has no intention of doing so. They are not worthy of the mantle of responsibility.

The game is fun. I recommend trying it out. It’s the non gameplay oriented portions that are having issues.

This is true. I hate all the mistakes with the customization and progress, but the gameplay itself is fantastic. Tbh thats what pisses me off though.

Except there are a good amount of gameplay bugs, glitches, and issues being found everyday so far.

The gameplay is fun and honestly many issues can be fixed easily. But there are gameplay issues that need to be addressed, and it’s disingenuous to say there aren’t.

I really want customization addressed or at least mentioned by 343 that they are at least listening to our feedback along with everything else because so far they’ve been quiet since the progression changes… And everytime 343 goes quiet it usually doesn’t end well

Armour cores are a complete nuisance. They only benefit 343 in selling similar shaders for each individual armour core.
