What makes it worse in the case of the coatings is that theres another sci-fi FTP title that proves you can monetise the colour system while still allowing player expression with the colours, Its called Warframe.
it becomes even more disgusting when people accept the current system as a necessary evil, when it isn’t cause there clearly exists another way.
as of right now the system feels like a restrictive version of Destiny’s Shaders.
Drawing attention to an alternative means of allowing expression will certainly help matters, to help show that it really doesn’t have to be this way.

Maybe, but I hope your not right. Venting does help a bit, but a big part of why I’ve been posting is I hope 343 will take some of what at least some of us say to heart. Maybe I’m wrong, but I hope not.

Tell it to the bigger name Youtubers, and draw attention to an alternative example that offers more freedom in a FTP game.

Technically keeping this up is keeping this section relevant. 343 need to know they’ve done goofed in their direction, while stressing that “You got the gameplay down perfectly, you just need to rethink this major aspect.”
They don’t look here at all… it would be fixed by now if they did
unrealistic of them to react so quickly when what were asking for is a fundamental overhaul, these things take time, all the more reason to keep the pressure on.

They are deliberate poor actions from a business people, that has been in business for a long time. They knew and know what they are exactly doing setting this up.
