Does Anyone else think they should keep the platinum packs. I really enjoyed them they helped me build my Rare and Higher collection since Gold doesn’t seem to cut it. So 343 please bring pack the Platinum
I’d rather cycle through the different REQ packs every month or so, so players who didn’t get the chance to get the Memories of Reach or the Classic Helmets pack have a chance to get them without having to spend real money.
Are they only for a limited time?

They are not really much better then gold packs when you have already unlocked all the commons and uncommons.
Yeah I can’t believe they are gone already. They were awesome. Loved them. So so happy to open a pack and not get junk like gold packs give to much of.

I didn’t realize they were only for a limited time.

i think they are great. The packs give you more of a chance to get better things and rare items. so i have to agree with you
Aside from getting the really juicy stuff “early”, Platinum Packs were excellent for those who’d want to restock their supplies for Warzone, especially Warlords.

Though, for its value, it gives out less cards than I would expect from a pack that should be better than Gold in every way—I guess guess Ultra Rare and Legendary cards only is too sweet to come by…

Don’t see much point in them, just another excuse for another micro-transaction pack that gives pretty much gives the same as a gold pack, just seems kind of pointless. The difference is minor, makes me think the gold pack might as well just have more content instead of clogging up the UI anymore than it needs to be. Used my RP points saved up on 1-2 and it just seemed to be a waste of points. The only reason to even bother is to check if 343i release some exclusive content in them…it happens sometimes.

Lol same, sadly. But yes even though they didn’t do me any good really I do agree they should bring them back, as well as bring back packs that some people didn’t get the chance to get so they don’t have to spend real money.

Plat packs are definately missed
The way to make these packs worth it is if they make them have only ultra rare, legendary and mythic items. Having the rares in there just decreases your chances of getting the high quality items. You can get rare items in silver soo if the platinum is supposed to be a better pack take out the rare items. If they don’t want to take out the rare items then decrease the cost 20000 is too much. Make it cost 15000 and have 10 items in each pack instead of 8. I have seen soo many videos of people getting just junk.

I feel like Silvers came up way too often; all of which I could attain easily from a Silver Pack, and Gold Packs has this problem as well. I wanted the Platinum to grant only Ultra and Legendary/Mythic items; a struggle to accumulate much of because for all the Uncommon and Rare certifications I have, that take more priority in the system, which just bumps down the high-tier items down the list.
Probably be so bad if they dealt a considerably higher REQ point gain base on rank, but that’s something else…
I’m not sure how good they were vs. golds when it came to people who didn’t have anything unlocked. For those who did, they were pretty much on par with golds in terms of what they yielded, but were exponentially higher in price, so that’s what turned us off from them (well, me at least). If the people who don’t have everything got a real bounty out of it whenever they opened it and they had like 40% of their REQs done already, then you can have it.

I got more ultra rare and legendary stuff out of these packs than I did from golds.
