343 has made some cool armors in their time, but they have outsourced for some of them to “enhance” the customization. And thats how we got the laughingstock of this generation, the Seeker helmet. It looks so dumb, like a rattlesnake trying to eat a boombox.
Anyway, we know 343 can change your armor set with the FOTUS glitch in custom games. So why not expand on that.
In Halo 6, use the seeker helmet as punishment. Purposefully quit out of 5 comp games that week?
Teamkill for power weapons?
The F word… you know the one.
Bam you’re stuck looking like an idiot for the next week with the Seeker helmet stuck on your skull. I think it’d be ideal punishment.
Thoughts?
Not a bad idea. Doesn’t seem like that’s a “good” enough punishment though for quitting games. Team killing though, that can work pretty well, it would literally be a warning to every player that there’s a team killer out there. It should probably just have it’s own armor though instead of using one they’ve already made

I like that idea. Plus there’d also be a ban to go with it. I have a question: is there a different “F-word” that you’re referring to?
I don’t know which one is worse.
Seeker: the Keurig machine-boombox monstrosity.
MK. V Alpha: the ugliest hamburger known to man.
See the problem with that is you’ll have countless threads pop up about people complaining that they are forced to wear a set of armor they don’t like because they were acting like jerks and how 343 is “ruining how I want to play the game” , etc, etc.
You just made me laugh in my lecture.

And the armor too. It also looks like trash.

See, I’m one of those weird people who actually thinks that Mark V Alpha doesn’t actually look that ugly, but Seeker… that one… the Keurig can die in a fire.
I really don’t see all the fuss about Seeker. It’s not that ugly.
Forcing a player to wear a butt-ugly helmet to punish for awful behavior? That’s comically awesome. I can’t imagine it would ever be implemented, though. These days in society, punishment is kept private and quiet, not public and embarrassing. And besides, would the offending person care? If not, it would not make for a very effective punishment.
But awesome idea, none-the-less.
I’m on board with this! The only problem to it is I actually like Seeker armor…It was my first helmet and it took me a very long time to wear another type.
I love this idea, would at least be a warning to others that he team kills and can be booted from the game or watched so he doesn’t do it again
This is genius, it seems like a good idea that could be added to another more damaging punishment. That way even if the offender doesn’t care that they are walking around with garbage on their head the helmet could serve as a comical warning to other players.
Rattlesnake eating a boombox… lol your so right…
Here’s a picture of the helmet btw for those who don’t know. LINK
Kind of like a dunce hat? I like this idea. Public shaming can be surprisingly effective. If I could add on, a forced color or emblem would be interesting.
I like this idea. Don’t get me wrong, I actually like Seeker armor. HOWEVER, the helmet is truly ugly. Looks like it was inflated and tossed in an oven.
Something like this could be good, as said in previous posts - it labels someone who may not be a team player so that you can choose to avoid them if they’re team killing or trolling.
Sad thing is, you’ll have the few people who love the helmet speaking up about how they want it in the REQ pool, or that they’re treated differently (if it is in the REQ pool).
But what if someone likes seeker…

Thats alright, you’re entitled to your opinion. Its a unique helmet to say the least.
I do have something that might pique your interest. Recently a person on Reddit felt creative, and redesigned the Seeker Helmet. I think its an improvement
Kinda captures the magic of the original, while making it a bit more functional. What do you think?

The helmet was not talked about that much until some YouTuber ends up making a video about it. I dunno that’s my observation.
