I quit bad matches all the time and I’m still not banned.
I don’t get why Quit Ban is with JIP.

I’ve been banned once and I’ve quit 200+
Others have quit less and been banned multiple times.
Like everything else that has a 343 stamp on it, it makes no sense.
Yeah join in progress starts to get to me after a while. I quit a laggy match, then get thrown back into the exact same game four times, next match is on Exile black screen out the wazoo until the BTB match is 3v2, then red team on Exile countless times in a row in rooms of people running into the death cannon known as the guass hog repeatedly like morons. Followed by a 60 minute ban.
It’s probably because people tend to quit more when it’s a landslide loss. If they’re winning, why would they quit?

Without a doubt there are kids out there who “GOTZ TO GET THA XP SO I KAN RANKS UPZERRSSSSSSSSSSSSS” and all that. They don’t care what the score is or if they lose by 300.
JiP should be an option that you can toggle on/off.
That said I’ve been playing Regicide lately and it’s absolutely nuts that i get JiP’d into a game where 4 people have over 200 pts … and I have zero. I’m trying to win games. Not harvest kills.

I cannot express how much I support this. I have grown to really hate join in progress almost as much as I hate Halo 2.

If I join a game that is halfway over and a landslide loss I might as well stick around for the XP anyways.
Not saying I don’t play to win, but if we are losing hard then we are losing hard.

Unfortunately it JIPs you before you can even do that sometimes. I do prefer the idea of an option as opposed to an exploit. I would just leave but you get banned for 60 minutes.

The only times I ever JIP are the times when I am not paying attention or looking at my loadouts. Otherwise I avoid them like the plague.

Yeah if its on the same map as your previous game, you join significantly faster

That is cool. Everyone is different.
Me, personally, I could not give two, three, four, or five -Yoink- about XP and rank.
And don’t get me wrong, I love putting the team on my back, but sometimes it’s just not worth the effort.

This happens to me sometimes 3-4 times in a row.
Inserted into the same blow out on Exile/Ragnarok in BTB.
If they look at anything with this JiP stuff, it should be THAT.
