Over the past few days my friends and I have been getting back on halo 5. We’ve noticed the servers have definitely gotten worse, as every match atleast one us in the lobby gets an “unable to connect to lobby” screen. We thought it was just a certain playlist or gametype but it literally happens in everything (social, ranked, even customs). It’s wierd that I haven’t seen anyone else talk about it, or that it’s happening now since it used to run perfectly when getting into a game before.
I was trying to play last night, but I kept getting the error “couldn’t connect to a private server” in Arena. But Warzone ran just fine.

It’s a common known issue, I doubt there’s anything you can about it. Someday’s it has fine days but the games servers have been getting worse for a while.
I’ve actually spoken about this quite a few times in the forums so kind of surprised you haven’t seen anything plus I think most people have sort of got used to the issues.

Apparently, the servers were having some issues last night, but it should be resolved. Link.
I’ve had some problems searching for games too. I play with a friend and when we search any playlist, the first game we try to play he gets dropped from that first game always. After he gets dropped from the first game we can play without him being dropped again. This happens to him even when he searches by himself and has been happening for several months. Now before we search a playlist, he searches by himself so he can get dropped from a game, before we start playing. I don’t know how to prevent this from happening.

Right Ive noticed that too! It usually messes up my first few matches then after that I’m ok. I hope that address it soon otherwise I’ll just have to do what you said haha, search solo then get kicked

They try uninstalling the game and reinstalling it? Had to do that with a weird issue in MCC where it was acting like I was backing out of a lobby search by pressing B, when I really wasn’t. Haven’t had anything weird like that happen again. My issue in Halo 5 is the random freezing where I have to dashboard and start the game again. This happens during gameplay, in the menu, and even when transitioning from the lobby into the actual game. It doesn’t happen often but it happens.
Oh I haven’t had that issue
