It finds players, lets me vote, then goes to screen that says loading Big Team then blinks and boots me out to search for players. Two hours on phone with Xbox live last night. I can play Halo AE, COD, etc. this is a Halo 4 issue. Can someone that works for 343i help me out on this?
Not from 343 but just wanted to say I have to have been suffering from this in multiplayer and it’s getting very annoying. Also while games are loading out of the blue my screen will bleep at me that me Disc is unreadable, I restart everything and fix my USB and it’s fine… But it’s happened 5 times now and I’m a little upset now.
I spent two hours last night on the phone with xbox and two hours thirty minutes today on the phone with xbox. I have multiple xboxes and it only is happening with one and it happens on with any hard drive I install in the console. It only occurs on this xbox playing Halo 4, however, all my xboxes have serious lag when playing Halo 4. It’s aweful. When I get banned for quitting games that are simply unplayable, I will sell all five of my xboxes, all four copies of Halo 4 and I will jump ship to PS3 and PS4. Look at the low numbers of people playing Halo 4… Enough said, because while 343i staff are writing about how much fun they are having (playing on LAN) the rest of us are having miserable experiences and frustrated.

Not from 343i, but I had this problem up until two days ago. I was also getting kicked to the Start Menu, to the lobby, and to an empty searching lobby.
I uninstalled all DLC/TU’s AND the WarGames installation disc, reinstalled all my stuffn’s, and everything worked fine. No idea why it does this, I had a feeling some update needed to be applied to the WarGames disc content or DLC, couldn’t say for sure. Give it a shot though and let us know how it goes. 
EDIT: This probably goes without saying, but pay attention to the file names, don’t delete your game saves, etc.
