It’s good to see cummunity doubles here. Now 343 needs to keep this playlist permanent and ranked.
its a staple playlist for every halo game and should be manditory.
I I don’t wanna hear any excuses about lack of population to support game modes. Team doubles needs half the players than team slayer or team areana/ breakout, and needs 4x less than big team battle.
its the perfect gametype when you only have one friend to team up with at any given time.
(most the population doesn’t have a dedicated team)
finding a a good partner is much easier than finding 3 good players you work well with.
With our current population we could easily support
team doubles and team snipers-ranked
and like 4 UNRANKED playlists, with very little to no hidden rank AT ALL
ans action sack wich will be a completially random “party” game.
and constantly add new forge maps to
the gametype over time.
we need way more maps from the forge cummunity for all gametypes.
there are so many amazing maps that include remakes of maps from older games and we still have -Yoink- maps like antifreeze for big team battle.
there should be contests and 343 should test them etc and see if they are balanced and good. Then players would vote for them and give them ratings.
every month get rid of the bottom 2-6 maps in popularity and replace them with the new contest winner maps
there would be no cons for much more map variety.
having 50+ cummunity maps on each playlist would be awsome, almost every game would feel drastically different.
just set it to be 50-65% chance of the map being one of the originals and 50-35% of one of the 50 cummunity maps.
