Every time I load up the mission from after the door is unlocked I crash to dashboard. And I’ve hard reset many times and 're played mission from start still crash

Uninstall
then reinstall.
That’s an important step.
I couldn’t get pass the main screen. Got kicked back to dashboard everytime. Reinstalling it now. It’ll morning by the time it’s done.
I have issue I can play MP but it crashes during the first mission already uninstalled reinstalled and it didn’t work for me
I had to install Halo 5 three times before it worked properly. Keep re-installing until it works.
I have reinstalled the game 3 times already and it’s still crashing. I will try again since you said 5 is the magic number.
I can’t even get on without the game crashing. Everytime I load it only gets to the Microsoft studios intro then freezes( more times than I can count, or I lost track anyways). But one in 100 It has let me play, twice actually ,the first time I did the first mission and then when it had to load again it glitches and booted me back to the dashboard. The second time I selected the second mission and it went to load and crashed back to the dashboard.
Now I’m back to only starting and running for 3 seconds only to glitch back to the dashboard. Xbox ran every troubleshooting ideas they had on my first disc, second disc, and now digital copy. They determined it’s a consol problem, the most knoladgeable person… The only knoladgeable person was a supervisor, and agreed with my reserch which it may be a RAM issue, where it doesn’t have to processing power to run the game due to a internal error. I only have ever had game freezing when playing GTA 5 and only when way too much is going on. Kinda makes sense… I geuss 
Either way I’m getting a new Xbox sent to me in 3-4 days… Geuss I’m out of luck till then… Sad that that’s the answer to this problem guys, but halo 5 runs the consol right to the max of its capabilities and if your Xbox has any issues this game will expose them.

Reinstall, Pull the plug on your XBox and replug it in, Press the start button on Halo 5 and press quit, or you don’t have anymore memory on your XBox.
Mines hit or miss, it keeps crashing. I pulled the plug for 20 mins and it worked for 2 days after not working for the first day. Now this morning I started playin and it went to load the 8th mission and crashed. Microsoft is sending me a new Xbox, under the advanced exchange program. It’s free in Canada at least, but what a hassle. I’ve never seen a game act like this. I sure hope it’s a ram issue or power issue with the Xbox and not going to follow me to the new Xbox!
This is absolutely horrible. For the amount of money spent on this title and the hype and power behind this game because Microsoft knows it’s the money maker and the only reason they are still around in console wars they sure as hell don’t care about bugs issues and crashing. Each time I kill a warden on the breaking on legendary and get s checkpoint and save the next time I die book title screen and my controller vibrates. Hard reset. Noting. I have a 3tb hard drive with 2 tb space left. Reinstalled 4 times. Checked for updates. Even went as far as to start the level over to see if it was s glitch with the game. Nothing worked. Absolutely unacceptable
I bought the game on disc a week ago and have also been unable to play past the first 30 seconds of the first mission. I’ve trawled through a few of these forums and found similar issues being experienced by quite a few users.
I’ve re-installed the game three times, downloaded the 14gb update it insists upon each time too (taking several hours every time!) and every single time I pass underneath the outcrop in the side of the mountain in the first 30 seconds or so it screen freezes and crashes back to the main xbox dashboard every single time. I’ve tried hard resets, un-plugging and re-plugging, deleting the saved games and nothing has worked.
Immensely frustrating - I simply want to play the game I’ve paid for!
By the sounds it is a known issue to 343 and a fix is in the pipeline? In the mean time looks like I’m left playing fall out 4…
disappointed and perplexed!
