i dont object to slight changes or a re work. like the difference between halo 3-reach-4’s rocket launcher/magnum and sniper.
as long as they ,for the most part, resemble their iconic/original looks.
halo 5 my major issue is the rocket launcher, look at the halo 5 rocket launcher…ok
now google ‘real rocket launcher’ try to find one that looks like halo 5’s
9/12 of my first 12 results were nearly identical (or really close to 5’s)
halo 2 already made this mistake like with it’s magnum.
halo 2’s magnum looked like a generic common pistol. and was changed very quickly in halo 3.(but still no scope)
though i like the prophets bane alot, the original sword still needs to exist.(and it does)
problem solved before it started…=)
I 100% agree about the rocket launcher. When I think of Halo, I picture either the Chief duel-wielding smgs or hefting the classic SPNKR. I actually like 95% of Halo 5 so far, but the rocket launcher needs to return to proper form(preferably Halo 2 version). I cannot accept the new design

It is somewhat cool, but on the other side i would much rather have the old school dual barrel rockets again. It is what everyone expects when you grab rockets.
Also on the topic of keeping classic weapons classic i think the sniper rifle scope is very very slow when you want to scope. Also this one seems to shoot ridiculously slow.

The scope on the sniper I’m…OK with. Could be better, could be worse. It definitely shoots slower though. The rocket launcher was the only one that when I saw it I was like…WTF!
