why do i keep being loaded into to loosing games with team mates that dont match skill or level really annoying is there a way for 343 to match skill and not just throw you into loosing games with 5 mins on the clock -Yoink!- me off
Stay in the lobby. You can’t join in progress unless you’re new to the lobby.
OP, just keep leaving, i always leave, only been quitbanned once
the logic of staying in a lobby after joining is silly, if you join the loosing team and resume playing with that group, chances are you will loose again with the same team members, honestly i just keep leaving, JIP system is silly

But when the OP says he is consistently getting JIP’d I can tell you the cause of that consistency. Qutting.
If you don’t quit games, you don’t get JIP’d.
I completely understand someone not wanting to play a losing game they JIP’d in to, however if the question is “How do I avoid JIP?” the answer is “Stop quitting.”. The answer is certainly not “Keep quitting” as you have suggested.
And your argument that staying in that same lobby will just result in more losses is wrong for a number of reasons:
- Teams get shuffled.
- A number of players are likely to leave and be replaced between games.
- You are playing full games, and can help your team win.
If you get put against a party of 4 that is smashing you, then fair play, leave. I would (albeit after the game), but most of the time thats not going to be the case.
i understand that point, you are correct
just i’d rather quit and keep trying to start new matches and forget about the JIP system, than keep joining loosing games, even staying in those games, it keeps the same players, and you are likely to keep loosing after, which could cause a quit, which starts it all over again.
i would just keep attempting new games, if i enjoy it and maybe win, i stay,
or if i join or winning or even game
im not trying to argue a point, its just my view of the system and way i deal with it myself
I get JIP all the time, when you see your locked into a JIP game just dashboard, it’s what you should do considering it’s a loss you don’t deserve
i’d rather wait and just leave, dashboard still counts as a leave and just takes effort to restart the game again i think

i see what your saying but after the game has finished i leave the lobby an end up getting put inot another loosing game i played 5 big team battles 1 after anohter and no word of a lie i was put into loosing games every time its infuriating they must be able to fix this its catch 22 if i quit im penalized i i stay im battered and loose games and kd ratio
it also kills the defeats the point of the CSR system
JIP does not belong in halo, end off, along with many additions 343i have introduced

The fact is, as soon as you leave the lobby, there is a high chance that your next game will be JIP (and you’ll probably be losing).
So you can either leave, and have a high chance of the same thing happening again.
Or stay in the lobby, and hope to have a decent full game next. Of course if you are against a party, you might have to leave, but if its not a party just play the next game!
OP, i’ve got that problem, so your not the only one. However, like everyone said above me, stay in the lobby to avoid JiP.
JIP is great for back-filling at the beginning of a game. No one should ever hear “Hold the ball to win! Game Over!”
Since I am just an average player anyways, k/d and CSR are not as big a deal to me, and I will often “take one for the team” and not quit, so that someone else won’t get stuck filling the spot I am leaving.
I did leave an Oddball game the other day where the opponents held all of the high ground, and would toss the oddball in the pit, so they could kill anyone who went after it. I figured it out, and quit trying for the ball, and went after the players, but we couldn’t knock them off, and so I quit out.

You’ll never catch me playing Halo 4 without a full team and even then i still get jip sometimes.
