So HONESTLY…what is more important to you in game…good K/D or good Win/Lose
I play mostly on my own as I dont have regular people I play with so im at the mercy of match making putting me in a good/balanbced team, so on that basis my personal peformance means more to me.
It depends how you look at it:
Kill Death Ratio is best to look at his ratio of the average amount of kills/deaths he’ll have that game. This can determine what his skill is towards killing people
Win/Loss Ratio is best to look at when he’s playing with a team of his friends, for that will show if he plays the objective well. Again, sometmes you are playing with teammates who are worse than you, ruining your kill/death ratio.
What matters in the end is if you think you are better than the other player. My KDR in MLG is 0.98, but it used to be 0.85. I started to care less about trying to get my KDR higher and played the game more to win, which then increased my KDR. It all depends on who your playing with and who you’re playing against.
So in the end, they both don’t matter more or less, because you can be a camper with a 3.0 KDR and a 0.25 win/loss or you can be a person who goes for the objective, have a 0.5 KDR and have a 3.0 win/loss ratio.

A team centered competitive game should be about WL. I dont agree with the direction that FPS are going towards with this sort of thing. Developers are focusing less and less on a players teamwork and the incentive to win the game and more on their individual stats instead. The fact that you hardly get any sort of Cr compinsation when you win a game in Reach and that its focused on a very casual style of gameplay is pretty limited.
FYI, no one uses the Win/Loss statistic (win to loss ratio); what you are probably thinking of is the win percentage which is the percentage of your games played that have been won. Just throwing that out there…
