KDA

In halo 5 it measures you on your KDA when you look on the career stats screen. However, mine is saying 4.6, when kills =62 assists =22. Deaths = 46

Just trying to figure out how that number is actually coming about! Haha any idea?

Seems like they are doing Kills + Deaths / Assists LOL

It should be Kills + Assists / Deaths

((K+(A/3))-d)/games played

Which really doesn’t measure anything since breakout games don’t have as many kills as other gametypes.

KDA, lol

Should be KDR…

But if there are not as many kills, then there are less deaths as well [every kill needs a death]. I would assume there would be less assists in Breakout as well. I think it would still work fine for Breakout.

Albeit with less kills and deaths there will be a larger fluctuation of KDA scores.

No… Just no. A good player gets 8 kills in 5 rounds and it’s over in breakout. A good player gets 20 kills in slayer. Wayyyyyy different.

What would you say that good player gets in deaths for both gametypes. Then we can do some calculations. I’m not saying my thought makes the KDA valid for breakout. I’m just saying you have to look at all parts of the equation - not just the kills.

If we use the 5 rounds noted above for breakout, there is a max of 5 deaths (and probably lower for a good player). A person getting 20 kills in slayer could also get 30 deaths (but again, probably not a good player)

All depends on the definition of a “good” player

Sorry… looking back at that last post it sounds a bit confrontational - it wasn’t meant to be.
