K/D Ratio Concern?

In Halo: Reach, my K/D Ratio is 1.04. On average, is that horrible, bad, average, good or great? Thank you.

As far as I could tell that is around being average.

I would refer you to a thread by MLG Sasquatch called “7 reasons k/d ratio means nothing” in the MCC forum. It’s still currently on the first page and won’t be hard to find.

In a nutshell he says that it all depends on what you play, how you play, and who you play with. And he’s right on every point. Check it out. If you’re looking for reasons to stop being a slave to your own k/d then this is as good as it gets.

1.04’s an average K/D.

Thank you guys, unlike most players, I am really conscious about my K/D.

Correct. There is an ongoing discussion in the MCC Forum about KDR about is lack of importance.

My advice, enjoy the game and don’t worry about KDR.

When I started playing Reach my K/D was negative, since it was my first time playing Halo online. I’ve improved since then and I can give you some advice if you’d like.

Its pretty good actually. That means for about every death you have a kill.

Oh how I wished I lived in your world. In my world, majority of players are conscious about their K/D. How I wish that was different. It would be a nicer world where I lived.

Anyways, 1.04 is an average K/D. You’re not bad, but you’re not good either. You’re just okay. Which is okay.

You shouldn’t be concerned about your KD if your worried what others thinks because you don’t need to prove anything to anyone. Just enjoy yourself and when you take pressure off yourself and just chill, you will find that you actually play better because of it.

i use the stats for personal use to judge how I’m doing as a player and that’s it. I’m very new to halo and so I have had a bad start, but I’m not worries about it and don’t care what others think. I can see my improvements each day and that is enough for me

You shouldn’t care about k/D, it’s really stupid to care about something like that. It’s only a video game, just mess around and have fun with it, don’t be a try hard.

it is ok

it really depends on what you play

I regularly play SWAT

I just like my K/D being positive just as a competion against my cousin.
