Just wow. I wow at how far things have come, and I wow at the fact that I am suddenly bored with Halo 5. I can’t wait for Reach, and I cant believe I am saying this. Really, I just cant. I remember the 27th, how I went home, and put in my Limited Edition of Halo 5, and I believed that this is the Halo game, to wreck all Halo games, and beyond. I feel sadly mistaken.
The campaign was -Yoink-, a bad cliffhanger and 3 Blue Team missions which seemed like bad love stories, and the Multiplayer, oh god the multiplayer. I didn’t mind the REQ system, in fact I think it’s probably one of the good things to happen in H5. But was any other Halo game ever like this? Even Halo 4 was never like this. (I think) Just look at the types, all competitive -Yoink-. At first I tried to ignore every single Halo 5 Hater, and I said to myself “OHHH ITS ALRIGHT! HALO 5 IS AWESOME, THESE GUYS JUST SUCK BUNGIES BIG BLUE BALLS!” I was wrong, and they were right.
Don’t get me wrong, the gameplay mechanics are fine, I haven’t had a problem. Sprint was in Reach anyway (and that was a Bungie game mind you) Though, back onto the multiplayer. Competitive BS. No Infection, No BTB (until December) No Forge (OH YEAH UNTIL DECEMBER) Really 343i? Really? Bungie never did this -Yoink-, and I dont remember you guys doing that with H2A and H4, not until now though.
Really I cant wait for Reach, I can actually play maps made by the community, I can play Infection, Doubles, and oh so many more. I can actually play a game with a good campaign, I can actually play Firefight (which yeah I believe now is way better than Warzone) But no longer can I deal with Halo 5 until it actually (and properly) becomes finished. I want the Halo I remembered back. I want the Halo EVERYONE remembers. With Split Screen, with a good campaign, with a very fun and addicting multiplayer, with Forge, with no member of this so called community sending death threats to Frank O’Connor, or Kiki Wolfkill, or Joseph Staten. I MISS THE OLD HALO COMMUNITY
I could say “OHH BUNGIE PWEASE COME BACK!” But it seems they already -Yoinked!- up with Destiny haven’t they? I come to the sad fact, Halo is dying very quickly, and I don’t plan on dying with the community that is locked in a civil war (maybe thats where 343i got the idea of The Elites being in a bloody civil war) Thanks for trying 343i, but Halo is just dead. I’ve accepted it. I’ll see everyone on Reach in December, maybe they can see the old Halo, the Halo that the community all loved, and before anyone screams that i’m a 343i hater. I’m not. They did their best, they really did.
Despite the -Yoink- multiplayer and campaign, they still cared. They threw in the biggest and most amazing lore, they put in an awesome comic series (Halo:Initiation) They are the guys who made an animated Fall Of Reach movie. At least they tried to bring Halo back. Now? Now it’s gone. The Community is dead, just everything is dead. This is JollyRoger343, and i’m done with Halo.
What a big wall of text. At least put down a tldr

> “No BTB (until December)”
It’s coming this week. Just give it some time. I agree that the launch didn’t include much content. I actually enjoyed the campaign, but just give the multiplayer some time. I’m sure once forge and a few more maps (hopefully not competitive focused) release, it will be much better. And yes, I know the 4 btb maps we are getting are all forged, but they don’t (shouldn’t) count as the 15 free DLC maps we’re getting.
I mean, it’s just one sour release. With everyone critiquing the game I’m pretty sure 343 is taking notes as to what we want. The point of moving forward is not to take a step back, they’re not going to re-make Halo Reach. They’re trying to put new spins on an old franchise while trying to keep true to the originals.
Halo 5 will get a bunch of updates over the next few months, which I believe is kind of a way of saying, “we should have released this a few months later, we know, but we had a deadline” I hope that the game is prioritized more for Halo 6, and is a step in the right direction, with more content at the start. Oh, and split-screen.
Hahaha I just laugh at all the people who “can’t wait for reach or H3”… THESE ARE STILL SUPPORTED ON THE XBOX 360!!! If they are so great go play… nothing stopping you… aren’t you glad you spent like $400 for a new game system so you can stitch play last gen games that can still be played on last gen systems… It makes no sense to me. Yeah I very occasionally revisited Reach and even H3 well after H4 was released and while yes I could find games there sure as heck wasn’t some massive population that some seem to think exist. Heck even MCC, which has H3 on it has a very small population since H5 dropped.
This is the most fun I’ve had with MP since Halo 3. No clue what all your whining is about, all of the game modes are coming and all maps are free. Gimme a break
Sigh…I’m sorry the old Halo games were good at the time, they still are in a way.
Halo 5 is a great game, 343 have modernised it brilliantly!!

Top lel
Sorry you are dissatisfied? Enjoy your life without halo!
Maybe if 343i had released a complete Halo game people wouldn’t be getting bored already. Oh well.
Fortunately, there are many other great games to play this year

Seems pretty complete to me

Just one sour release? Where have you been for the last three years?
343i did in fact take a massive step back with the release of Halo 5 by not giving the fans the complete Halo experience that is expected from Halo games:
> In the past, Halo games have constantly taken steps forward with the amount of content present in each game (all complete and fully operational at launch I might add).

No deadline excuses can justify the piss poor amount of content released with this game. As you said, we can only hope 343i can correct their mistakes for Halo 6.

You must be new to Halo then? Within the last 3 years?

I’ve been told to be patient since before Halo 4. The clock has been ticking. 343i is about to be 0 for 3. H4,MCC, now H5.
#Halohate AGAIN REALLY BUILD A BRIDGE AND GET OVER IT
I can’t help but laugh…$400,000,000 in one week revenue is not Halo being dead…Beyond that, the game is complete. I don’t understand why some folks believe that every game that ever comes out needs to maintain every single feature that has ever been included in a preceeding game release. Judge the game for what it is. Not what it is not. Its comical that 343 is trying to appease all of the previous Halo game fans by adding additional features at no additional cost and people are upset. I agree some of the features like Forge and btb would have been nice at launch, but to suggest the game is incomplete or lacking because of their one month omission is funny. This is the best balanced Halo MP ever released. It is a solid foundation for the new maps and Reqs that will continue to he released for the next 7 months. Different doesn’t mean bad. If it were the same there would be no reason to buy it either. I think it is a much better balance between old and new than H4 was. And 4 was still a good Game.
H5 at the moment looks… terrible I think. Camapgain sucks, spawns sucks, map rotation sucks, small amount of game modes, leavers everywhere, rank system sucks, REQ sucks, Commendation system sucks, no co-op sucks. H4 was much much better i think.
