This is going to be kept moderately short and sweet. These forums have become almost worse than the old Bungie forums.
Why is it that everyone has gotten the mindset that they’re entitled to whine and complain about a game that they were praising and looking forward to for so long? Why is it that everyone thinks making a carbon copy of Halo 1-3 will make you happy?
I’m perfectly content to sit back and play and enjoy the game without acting like a spoiled child all over the internet. You should be too.
People feel this game is a disservice to the franchise built by those games. Too much change for the sake of change, and not enough of using what has already been proven to work.
Agreed. I’ve liked every Halo game that has ever been produced, excluding Halo Wars (not a fan of console RTS’s). This game is a blast and I’m loving it!
Its the net, ppl naturally feel the need to complain online… whether it be about a game that doesn’t have the features they want or a bad day at work/school.
Personally, and I think I speak on behalf of many. “We” all loved Halo 1-3, and for the most part, felt that Reach kind of took a step in the wrong direction with the series. That being said, there was a loud backlash as to why reach wasn’t a roaring success. So I believe many of us assumed they would correct those mistakes with Halo 4, but instead they went either further in the wrong direction for the most part. Seems 343i doesn’t “get” what made Halo 1-3 so successful.

Every halo game has brought something new to the table, some of those changes might not be as drastic as what 343 gave us but I still live the game. Still feels like halo to me and I’ve been here from the beginning.

I don’t think everyone thinks this way.
I think some just want good multiplayer servers and not black screens every two games.
I think some just want no cheaters in a pricy game they bought.
I think some just want their fileshare that they were promised.
I think some just want some logic behind some actions that went off balance.
We should all be happy that this game is NOT the same as the last. I am not a fan of CoD and no one should put $60 on the table each year an “expansion” comes out. I like the fact that there are different things that are developed in Halo, some work and some do not, but at least they are looking for variety.

I think it’s because they cannot adapt to Halo 4 and so they now just hate it. Sure I do not like some of the things 343i has done, but THIS IS LITERALLY THEIR FIRST REAL HALO GAME EVER go easy on them. Let them learn from their mistakes.
