I know many ppl will say “you can’t mod this game” but at this point, when I’'m hijacking a vehicle and they escape WHILE HIJACKING and then kill me, just makes this point all more clear on how you can mod this game and ruin the fun. I have never once been able to leave a vehicle while getting hijacked even with the vehicle mods. Even have the video here to prove it. At this point, this game has finally turned trashed, time to go to Call of Duty.
That’s likely a network related visual bug, not a mod. Would be silly to be able to mod something like that.
I’ve been asssasinated from the front. Had my stickes bounce off people. Heck I was even skyjacked mid air while a guy was on the ground. Welcome to online Halo!
Mods can’t happen as the Xbox one hasn’t been cracked yet so to speak. However that doesn’t mean H5 doesn’t have bugs. There is a bug in H5 where when a vehicle explodes for some reason it will kick the player out instead of kill them. It has happened to me a handful of times, usually in a wraith. The vehicle exploded and I didn’t die…it’s weird but not a mod just a rare bug.
I hope Infinity is a huge improvement. There’s clearly no way that a player can exit out of a vehicle being hijacked for the amount of time there was and when there was no lag going on at all that game. Had he gotten out, I wouldn’t of even of been able to hijack it, rather get in it after he got out. Again I hope Infinity is a huge improvement bc there is too much modding to this game.
That’s not really proof unless you can prove that it’s not a bug. The Mantis has had boarding issues in the past where the driver was able to get out of it right as they were being boarded so I’d be more inclined to believe it’s related to that. There’s also something that comes out of the Mantis around the 5 second mark which could be related to the issue, but I can’t tell what it is.
Yes the issue is sort of a common bug. I’ve witnessed this glitch while hijacking and being hijacked and generally the game has been becoming more broken for a while now. Though I wouldn’t be surprised if some found a way to cheat but as others have claimed…it seems unlikely that the x1 could be modded but I have my doubts.

This is not mod, there is a way to do that (oly in Mantis), also you can survive in other vehicles but is random like this and this
This is mostly a networking bug. You can get forced out of a vehicle while it’s being destroyed. I don’t think the Xbox One can be modded yet due to it not running unsigned code outside of developer mode, which restricts certain activities on the Xbox if I recall correctly.
Trust me, if someone could mod a xbox one and halo 5, I would know about it and spend whatever amount to do it too
As other have said OP, it’s not possible to mod games on the Xbox One so it’s not any kind of modding that you have encountered here
