Just Watch Trailer!

WOW! Felt so short even at 2 minutes. I was wondering if Halsey was on one of the Pelicans saying there’s my boy.

Creepy to show the kidnapping and showing him and his mom was unexpected.

Nasty looking surgery for sure and they did a great job of hiding him of course. Not so sure on the overhead shot as I expected more red hair I guess.

Overall it was fantastic. Too bad they had to mix it with CGI that was not as good as it should have been but tops though so I am not bashing it. I can’t make something like that.

I want more and more of it but who doesn’t!

Nothing is gonna beat the Halo 3 believe trailer, but this one came close.

I might be a little weird but I was finally glad they got the surgery part right. In the books they described it like that “gory.” And ever since the live action trailer of Reach with Carter’s character; my friends (who do not read the books) thought that was the way they were made. Which made me a little mad cause it was off a lot.

I had read all the books up to Ghosts of Onix and then kind of left off with no real games. It was the time when Staten wrote his book and I have to say I remember the surgery being described as bad but I didn’t recall any details like they were opened up like dolls.

It looked painful on the video and I was like, is this Bio-Shock haha.

I suppose the guy he was watching ripping his arm off the bed was dying like they said a lot did? Maybe I saw that wrong.

I was also assuming the next shot was the MC in his younger days after his surgery and I mean the young mans face they showed and the one sitting up. I noticed some beds were empty meaning they died.

This is the most the MC has ever been shown(un suited) for sure in anything. The little boy does look like the little boy in the Halo 3 video where he puts on his helmets and run and jumps on the Brutes.

At first I was like is that Flood Carrier forms? Too bad a grenade won’t even kill one let alone blow up 4 haha. I know it is a commercial.

I agree the Believe stuff was tops.

One question I still have no answer to is this.

How can the soldiers like 30-40 years later in the believe commercials talk as if the MC was never found ever if clearly he is there now.

Is it just an unforseen error. I mean how could they know he would one day be doing this. I thought how could Bungie leave him floating toward a Forerunner Planet and not have any idea why. They must of had some info they passed on. I just think it was too easy for 343 to just make this story so easily. It had to be somewhat planned prior. What do you think.

We have to assume at there is at least 95% of a chance the Earth knows he was found somewhere between Halo 4-6. It would only seem fitting he dies in Halo 6 and Earth never knew he was found for the Believe to stay true if that is something they would care about.

I am just saying that it could be true right? Hopefully Halo 4-6 only takes like 1-3 years real universe time or he will have to retire sooner or later. Thankfully Cryo keeps him young. Geesh by then they should be able to transfer him to a new body or at least let him go see his mom one day or his fake self.

Ok I was way off topic.

Video was great just wondering who was scanning him. I am sure it was the Didact dude.

Master Chief doesn’t have red hair.

Oh I thought it was reddish hair!

QUOTE FROM FRANKIE

You won’t get to see Master Chief’s face in Halo 4, as 343 Industries keeps the mystery alive.

However, his appearance isn’t a secret, Halo franchise development director Frank O’Connor told Eurogamer.

“The funny thing about the Chief is he’s actually really well described,” said O’Connor.

“If you went down into that line and found a nerd with a deep canon Halo t-shirt and said describe the Master Chief to this police sketch artist, that police sketch artist would then produce a perfectly accurate rendering of an older man, almost painfully pale, almost albino white, with pale blue eyes, reddish hair, close cropped to a skin head, and maybe the last remnants of freckles he had when he was a kid.”

That information was revealed in the 2001 novel ‘Halo: The Fall of Reach’, but is often forgotten.

Despite being well-described, 343 has no plans to depict his face in the game.

I like Chief with his helmet. I want to keep that image in my mind.
