It is bugged, but you can still make maps and play custom games with it. People are already using it to play maps they made with friends. It’s way better than nothing. There’s tons of new maps to play in the Forge build. I say it should be released broken now, since Forge Beta will be scuffed anyway in 6 months. You know it, I know it, everyone knows it. We all expect Forge to be released broken, so may as well do it now.
If not, then these YouTubers will keep using the unofficial build to make maps and play customs while everyone else waits 6+ months
september to november a typo sureee especially since it was brought up a few times yet they didnt say anything until they closed in on the release date less then a week before it was supposed to be released
Steamcharts are a great indicaction of how a general populace feels about something. Steam is by far and away the largest PC Gaming platform. If a game isnt doing well on Steam and isnt fundamentally broken (as in, it doesnt launch), it bodes poorly for other platforms.
As can be seen with the Xbox “numbers,” or absence of said numbers. If Steam isnt doing well, odds are, it isnt doing well on other platforms. The reason we utilize Steam, is because it updates more regulalry than the Xbox placements, and its the only hard data we have.
The Steam numbers could be a thousand and that’s a positive, those are just positive numbers on top of who plays it on Xbox Live. Most PC players don’t even use Steam to play Infinite… Its simply not the best measurement.
Again, use the same exact measurement that has been use since Halo 2, that will give you far more info.
I’m sure there are other third party sites that are more relevant as well.
Again, there are obviously loads more people on XBL dude. When you use statistics improperly, it actually hurts your argument.
Let me try “CSGO isn’t even a top 50 XBL game, its dead!”
see? Its stupid. Its not just stupid its malicious. You are pretending the game has a thousand players when in reality it could very well have 20-30k or higher, there’s 10k just in Ranked alone.
Infinite isn’t popular, but using horrible statistics just hurts your argument.
and the pc community is a large community and im sure a large amount of pc players would still stick to steam so in a sense it can give us some what an idea of the state of the game. and it gives us an idea of them failing to expand the player base a lot
