I still have not received the code for unlocking the specializations.

I met all of your little qualifications, but, you know, I don’t use an email associated with an account I made in 2007 on Bungie.net. I checked it anyway (including junk/spam). The message with the code is not there. I have not received any message from Xbox LIVE in my guide button thing.

Then again, exactly why I or anyone should have to receive a code to enjoy the game like so many other people get to do, is mind-boggling. I have bought every super-premium-legendary-deluxe-edition since Halo 2, but I didn’t this time. I never had to buy a limited edition to play the game. They always gave you some special armor or figurine thing. But specializations actually affect GAMEPLAY! Apparently, I’ve been deemed unworthy to use things like the Rogue class, which allows Master Chief to hold his aim steady when getting shot at, which he has never had to do before. I guess he’s getting up there in age or something.

I’m level 68, near 69, and unless you give me the code me and so many other LOYAL FANS have rightfully earned, I don’t see myself playing after I get to 70, as I will then be wasting xp or whatever. If I was allowed to get to 130, I would keep playing after that. But this is unacceptable.

I understand buying maps. I’ve bought every single one since Halo 2. This… I don’t know WTF this is. Whoever at 343 thought of this is… special.

And if your ultimate master plan is to make people buy the specializations or some other idiotic plan, I’m not buying them. Just make life easier for everyone and unlock the specializations for everyone. Do a patch or something. They should have all been there in the first place. I do not appreciate being treated like a second-class gamer. I’m insulted, quite frankly. All of this coming from someone who:

  1. Has been a loyal Halo fan since Halo:Combat Evolved.
  2. Has logged countless hours playing Halo, with several hundred thousand online kills.
  3. Has bought EVERYTHING, excluding the LE edition of this particular game.
  4. Has stuck with this franchise, despite its obvious decline. (Graphics are better, whoopie.)
  5. Is 23, lives in the United States, and most certainly played Xbox LIVE before November 20.
  6. Has been using the SAME ACCOUNT for nearly 8 YEARS.
  7. Would probably be level 130, if not for school and work, and 343 being ridiculous. (I reached Inheritor before Bungie started giving points away)SORRY!
  8. Flew to Florida with friends one time just to play in a Halo tournament.

So, you know, you can keep treating me and others this way, or the only thing that will make me play this game is friends begging me to get on. So far, your handling of this franchise and your loyal customers is an embarrassment to Bungie’s legacy.

They won’t give you an anwser/explanation. The only thing they will give you is a nice big lock to hang on this topic.

Just to inform you, they are not going to make you pay for specializations but instead release them at a later date in which has not been determined yet.

Lol probably. Just lock the only relevant/pressing issue affecting the community right now. I didn’t even use double xp. There’s so many people that either are or soon will be capped at 70, and will just stop playing. Brilliant reasoning 343.

And I wouldn’t put it past them to make me pay for the specializations. Either way, no one should have to wait to unlock a huge part of the game experience.

Yeah seriously. This is ridiculous. I traded my ps3 for an Xbox 360 a little less then a month ago JUST so I could get halo 4. Well, and because ps3 sucks. But before my ps3 I was a huge halo fan. Ive been playing since combat evolved. But 343 is ruining the fun in this game. Your telling me, as soon as I reach 70, that all the xp I earn womt count towards anything? Like that is a load of crap. Step up your game 343. We ARE trying to help you guys & give you a chance to improve this game!! Please dont take advantage of us!!
