I have not seen such a moronic thread in quite a while.
Why put it in a real life situation, when Halo 4 is a game? AA’s should work with the game to make it fun, and to be fun it has to have a certain level of balance. If one overpowers all the others, then there goes combat variety, leading it to be a massive cluster**** of abusing that one AA.
^ Agreed, halo 4’s AAs seem to be more balanced then reaches and don’t appear to break the gameplay hardlight shield looks to be a better addition then having armor lock return. In fact all the new and returning AAs look great.
I’ll start by saying I have no reason, so far, to believe that H4’s AA’s are overpowered. That being said, I do care if they are. NOTHING in a game should be overpowered. Everything should be balanced to create an innovative but balanced sandbox. Saying we should just counter it is a useless argument. Of course we should counter it, just like we counter everything. The problems exists when the “counter” isn’t as effective as it should be. Rockets aren’t overpowered because they have limited ammo and are set on a relatively long spawn timer.
I assume you use armor lock, we need balance in a game in order to show true skill in a player, i cant tell you how many times i have died to a noob using armor lock. Reward the skillful player, not the n00b. Thats why i stopped playing CoD. balance is key to a great game. Look at halo 3, it was a VERY balanced game, and it rewarded skillful players for being good and putting in the time to get good. We need a balanced game to make it an even playing field, so the skillful players are rewarded for being skillful.
