I have been seeing a lot of threads bashing H5 for being too competitive lately. I just wanted to say that there are those of us out there who love the sweat we just aren’t as vocal because we are playing the game and not griping on the forums. I love how competitive H5 is and for me that is what separates it from other fps titles is the ability to be sweaty AND fun. Its because of the great jobs the devs did with gun balance and map design, is it perfect? no ( Spartan charge needs tweaking) but it’s really close. I feel like being competitive is at the core of what halo is about a game where teamwork, gun skill and map knowledge beat out everything we’ll done 343 well done. What do you guys think anyone else out there that loves the sweat?
I just wish it had no stat tracking in social playlists, if not the game in general.

I enjoy comparing how I stack up to other players. I am not a good player by any means but I still love seeing were I can improve my play at. So the more stats the better.
I absolutely love the hit % for every weapon I think that is awesome stat

I look at my stats as a validation of my worth as a teammate. I play hard to have more positive performance than negative. If someone sees another person doing good, they want to stick with them, its only logical.
However, in Halo 5, stat tracking is a perpetual bother. I can’t kick back, relax, and experiment with my loadout because I constantly have to play at my best 24/7 with no playlist choices that let me take a break from K/D and W/L.

Also the amount of damage you do, my absolute favorite. They’re entirely lacking in stats for H5, though. ( Medals, Flag Carry Time, Tool of Destruction, Killed most, Killed most by, and several more… )

Yea I wish it showed yer medals at the end of the match
