Just stop with Attrition in quickplay

Why?

Personally I don’t get all exaggerated angst for one game mode over another.

Sure, you will have preferences. Likes and dislikes…

But the core gameplay is still the same. Get out there and kill other Spartans. It’s the same basic skill set?

So, out of interest, what is it about elimination modes that irritates you to the point of quitting?

And don’t get me wrong - they aren’t my favourite either.

But I just saddle up and try and get some kills. Without dying obviously. And that’s a pretty sound strategy to take into pretty much every game.

It’s not my favourite mode either but it’s pretty much just slayer just broken up into a few quick rounds. I don’t love the whole revive mechanic at the end of rounds but it adds to the variety overall.

I don’t like it either but mercifully the games are fairly quick so I stick around a play the game with less enthusiasm…

I don’t mind attrition, but the last few weeks it seems to be heavier weighted, probably just my luck though. I really want to see more oddball in quick play, I often go 6-8 hours in quick play without a match of oddball.

I wish I could select the game mode I want to play instead of being forced into game modes I don’t like. Specifically, I would like to play more KOTH (King of the Hill), so it would be great if I could choose it. When I’m forced to play game modes I don’t enjoy, I’m less likely to want to play the game altogether.

In my case, i want to get kills. In gamemodes where you only have one life, the game slows down too much and i can’t get as many kills as i want
I don’t play quickplay for this reason too
Infinite desperately needs a match composer like mcc

I don’t agree, but I do think we should be capable of selecting preferred game modes while excluding others, THAT WE PERSONALLY DESPISE, SO WE CAN HAVE FUN.

Oddball in my opinion is an iconic Halo mode and by far probably the best objective mode but I never get to play it at all. Oddball should have its own playlist.

Agree, playing attrition and TDM (which already has its dedicated playlist FFS) over and over in something that’s suppose to be objective-base playlists is a joke.

This game has way too many gametype issues. Attrition doesn’t fit in “normal” playlists because of the respawn system. 3 round Oddball is just flat out worse than the original single round gametype. Nu-KOTH basically functions like extraction. Respawn timers have been extended across the board. None of these changes have been good for the health of the game.

Kinda like it and the revive stuff… Adds a new twist on everything and can allow some pretty epic comebacks
