Stop trying to dictate how halo 4 should be. Stop setting morals for video games. If you don’t want to use a certain gun or AA then don’t. But don’t chastise other players just because they like using it. I’ve always enjoyed halo because it supported many styles of play without any of them being the best. Stop trying to drag halo 4 down by making false claims. There are plenty of people who enjoy halo 4. If your one of the people who doesn’t then thats okay. No one is making you play. But don’t try to ruin the game for others.
Halo 4 has actual issues like phasing through maps or JIP on flood causes you to be an enemy for everyone. Those are not the only bugs/glitches but you get my point. Halo 4 supports many play styles and not one is nooby. Not one is for “bad players.” That all stems from people having standards for how things should be. Only 343 has a right to say how the game should be. Halo started in a new direction with reach and continued to go with it in halo 4. It is unlikely that halo will ever go back to the old days. Many players like me who’ve been around since halo CE have fond memories of the past games. But thats what they are. Past. halo has been evolving since day 1. And it will continue. If you don’t like this new direction then i am sorry. But going back to what we used to have would devolve. Not make things better. If you want old halo 3 is still running. As im sure halo 2 vista is still running as well. Halo 4 is a new experience and it will stay that way. Stop trying to turn it into the past.
Halo 4 is a beautiful game. It is not broken. It is not unbalanced. Nothing is OP. Its just not your cup of tea. And while i respect your opinion and understand all opinions are valid it doesn’t make your opinion the right one. I really hate to use the Phrase “adapt or die” but it applies here. I’m not saying people are incapable of playing well when i say this. I mean you have to accept halo’s new changes or move on. Its not fair. But its not possible to please everyone (343 included.) What im saying is stop hating. Its not helping you, its not going to change how halo 4 will play, and its not going to get 343 to change. All its doing is wasting time. So from one fan to another i hope you can find some way to enjoy halo 4. If not then i hope you manage to find fun elsewhere and we were glad to have you stay around this long. Its not the best because 1) it doesn’t work for everyone and 2) no matter how good you do with that playstyle someone can do just as good if not better using a different playstyle.
You can’t have something be the best if its down to player preference.

True. But like i said claims like this and others are just used for validation. They have no actual place in an argument. Its just used to rope weak minded people in to believe their false claims.
A solid point. Ive been saying from day 1 they should create a “classic playlist” using forge remakes of old maps with no aa’sor ordinance with static weapon drops and allow players to vote on not just the map but the game type as well. Example: slayer brs on the pit or slayer dmrs sanctuary, or classic slayer(ar start) on guardian. This way people who like more “traditional” halo will have a playlist of their own, while the players who prefer the new “evolved” halo can still play infinity slayer.
So we should stop talking about a broken File Share, missing Custom Game options, missing game types, broken JIP, a poorly implemented Ordinance system that turns every playlist into Action Sack…just because you don’t like other opinions?

Way to not read. I did say the game had actual issues. I didn’t list all of them. 1) yes the fileshare is an actual issue its been recognized and they are working on it. 343 said so in a bulletin.
“missing” is a personnel problem. I do agree some options are gone that i would like. But as fare as an actual issue goes its not one.

There is no best style of play. When you see the dots on the minimap, that means that there is someone with camo camping close to you. So before you go through the door, throw grenades at both sides. They will back off a bit, or die. And if you still do not know where they are, go through a different door.

I’m not an auto person. But my brother Zetsu14 is a strong AR user. He uses it every game. And i think his most played playlist is BTB. He’s by no means a bad player.

Moving people onto what? A game that requires little effort? A game where the victor is heavily influenced by the rolling of dice? A game where Rock paper scissors is a part of the gameplay? No thanks, I bought Farcry 3, Borderlands 2 and Skyrim for £58 ,Halo 4 cost me £40, I think I know which is the better deal, 3 full games for £58 is far better than £40 for a beta on a disc.
Halo 4 is the first Halo for me to abandon, it’s also the first Halo game for me to intentionally leave it to gather dust (I’ve put it on a shelf in my roof space)

You can bash the game anyway you wish. You don’t enjoy it and thats your deal. There are plenty of people who enjoy halo 4 as is.

Is that supposed to be fun?
I don’t find it fun.
Not to mention it’s better than the style of play you’re describing because I’m now required to throw a grenade and go through a different door because of the ability weapon combo you have.
The blue dots don’t show up when you’re across the map BTW.
Camo is like waiting for a pedestrian to cross the street, even though you’re patient you still wish they weren’t there to begin with.

People have different tastes. Halo was more predictable in 1-3 and to some people thats what they liked. They arn’t wrong for liking that. Where they are at fault is trying to tell 343 how the game should be.
