I was watching the flood gameplay by IGN and noticed something about a spartan.
Go to 2:20 and watch carefully as the teammate passes by.
Did you see it? What I’m talking about is the flashing red light on the helmet, wut da hell?
Can anybody clear this up? Armour effect, visual cue for using an AA?
I think he was using PV AA, didn’t 343 confirm a couple of months ago when someone uses PV their visa turns red?
Probably for Promethean Vision, but I can’t tell for sure since I can’t see the video because you used the mobile version.
The visior does not turn red with PV a red laser light type thing shoots out. Pretty cool effect, I like it looks comes out from different places depending on what helment you have on.

General perception seems to be that it IS a visual cue for PV. That’s what I was thinking.
Yes I believe you are 100% correct But i think it come out of different places on different helments, like the scanner, CIO, other strange visor shaped helments (still totaly amazing though)
