If anyone read my thread yesterday it was about returning to halo 5 for griffball but I kept lagging out of every game. I’ve never had these problems EVER!
This is the only game i lag in and lag out of. My games include CoD AW and BO3, Titanfall, unfortunately Destiny, and Rainbow Six Siege. Never lag in any of those games but after putting in Halo 5 yesterday for the first time in a long time I’ve been banned because of poor connection.
IMO lagging out shouldn’t get you banned as you have no control over it. I don’t wanna sound like a baby here but I think I am going back to Siege or something because this is the ONLY game that has these problems for me. Doesn’t make sense. Halo is my favorite game and always will but this is unacceptable

What region are you in? I know that many Europeans have complained about latency issues.

But I lagged out over forge too and I was by myself

XBL ans 343 have crap servers, that’s the issue right now.

I haven’t had any lag issues here in Ohio but I haven’t played much through the week. My time is on the weekends.
I had lag on the day the update launched but today has been fine so far.

Are you sure about that. maybe they share servers? maybe they are all Microsofts? maybe 343I have their own? Unless you work for one or the other I’m sure you don’t know!
I know today xbox live was having problems and the lag is on mircro$oft’s end not 343’s. I too have lag often but it comes in waves where one moment the game plays smooth and then for a few minutes I get lag. Sometimes tho I get online and the whole game is lagged and unplayable 
Yes I am experiencing the same issue. I was lagged out of three consecutive games yesterday which gave me a huge rank penalty (diamond 4 to diamond 2) and a ban.

Microsoft and 343i are one in the same. They are basically a department that has its offices off of the main MS campus.

I highly doubt there’s that many people coming back to Halo for grifball. Infection, possibly, but the servers have been lagging for awhile, not just recently, and it’s definitely not because there’s just SO many people wanting to play this game.
