From Ragnarok, they do not belong there, the saw is way too powerful in base fights and absolutely useless everywhere else, it encourages defensive play which is bad and the mantis… well the mantis basicly makes CTF unplayable because it’s a walking spawn trap…
I agree on the mantis, don’t care either way on the saw.
easy fixes for the mantis, use the plasma pistol, plasma grenades, spartan laser, or use team work to take the shield down.
As for the saw, make sure they don’t get in your base. A BR can stop them long before they get there.
Considering the Mantis has invaded a few other maps now, I definately agree with this. I wouldn’t mind seeing Ragnarok in Legendary Slayer, too, if this were to happen. It’ll need more precision weapons on the map or as a gametype choice, though.

I find the SAW pretty balanced and it’s not hard to counter with a BR, DMR, even a Magnum. You just have to get at range to kill them.
The Mantis I don’t mind because you are forced to use teamwork to take the enemies down while preserving yours. Though I would rather see the Mantis taken out of Longbow and bring back the Scorpion.

saw can beat br in controlled bursts at mid range
i dont have a problem with either because im that guy you hate who somehow gets to the top of the hill gets the laser before anyone knows it and BAM lasered the mantis before 30 seconds in to the match, and i have a plasma pistol for the respawn of the matis because my aim is to kill the first and highjack the next, its all about your playstyle man
If you communicate well with your team you can take out the Mantis fairly easily,going up against an uncoordinated team with a plan of your own is great

the mantis just drags out gameplay for it takes forever to kill plus it blows up other vehicles in secionds

There’s nothing wrong with playing without a mic and listening to music. You just forsake the communication aspect of teamwork.
I can’t listen to music when I play. Hearing the sounds in the game increases my awareness of my surroundings.

Your aim must be terrible.
2 full on laser shots kill a mantis. 1 to strip shields, 1 to destroy.
I have no issue with either. EMP it, then laser.
Possibilities are endless, as are your respawns.

I do both fine, I have my earphones in then my headset over, me and my friends tend to have the banshee pepper the Mantis with fire, while the enemy Mantis is distracted move in with our own

communicating with randoms is impossible, they camp the base anyways regardless, no matter whether or not you use a mic and sound like a tryhard a-hole or you haven’t and don’t communicate whatsoever you can’t control your team, they will never listen and quite frankly, why should they? it’s their game, let them play it and enjoy their few minutes of playtime instead of breathing down their necks, 343 need to fix this so that stuff like that doesn’t happen.

who doesn’t get constantly hit by the mantis when they are playing offense (the correct way) in CTF, flag running is suicide so you’re forced to camp the base till it comes and spawn traps you.
heck some games, my team sucks so badly that the enemy team has two mantises and controls both bases in a game of CTF, i am not even kidding.

notice the word “friends” in that text, all my friends play blops 2 like many other people’s “friends”.
